Thanks for all the replies. I had no idea about the ESPN Weekend. With that & President's Day, it looks as if the first part of Feb. might be the best time to go. Hopefully, there will still be some rooms available....I can usually count on SSR if nothing else.

We are thinking of scheduling a trip for Feb 2010. Are there any special events going on during February that might make a certain time more crowded? We would love to go when the parks aren't too crowded!

On our next trip, we will be staying at the AKL concierge level. They have already been helping us out so much with planning, ADRs, etc. Do we need to tip them extra for these services when we arrive? Any advice?

Our family has been to WDW several times, but we have never been to a water park. I'm trying to decide which one to do....Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Also, what day of the week is the best to go? We will be there Aug 22-29.
