Disney's BOARDWALK INN Information & Questions

Thanks! I've clueless when it comes to this resort. Lol. Didn't know lobby was one up from ground. Any other suggestions? Also have a smoker in our group. Does anyone know how difficult it would be to get out of room and go to a smoking area if not on ground level?

I'm thinking about taking the kids down for a last-minute trip next month. Is there any chance I can get a room on property with such short notice? I've never stayed on property before. Can the experts point me in the right direction? We're okay with a basic room. It's me, ds 14 & dd 13.

Can I book a room I won't be sleeping in?

We've booked a room at Pop for late August and on our last day, our flight leaves late at night. Is it okay to pay for an extra night, even though I won't be sleeping there? I'd like to go to MK during the day then come back to the room and shower before heading to the airport.

Hotels Along the Way-NJ to FL

Thanks for all of the advice. I, too, would like to have the big part of the trip completed the first day. SC sounds like a good place to stop. Besides, I always wanted to see that area, even if it's just for the night! Microtel seems like a great place to stop and only a total of...

Any recommendations for a decent hotel/motel on the way down from NJ to Florida? There will be 3 adults and 4 kids in all, so we'll need 2 rooms. We're looking for something cheap and clean, just to break up the drive.

    Onsite or offsite advise needed

I think for a solo trip, you're better staying on site. In all of my trips, I've never had a snake in my room, anywhere! Safety-wise, I think you're better off on property and you won't have to drive either!

    Going Next Week... and....

Have a great time and take advantage of extra magic hours. I agree with the others - get there early! It's amazing how much you can get done in the first 2 hours when a park opens.

    Best deal for SW tickets

How about Discovery Cove? If you're planning to go to Discovery Cove, you can buy the regular DC tix (no dolphin swim) and you get Sea World and Aquatica included for 14 days. For my November trip, DC tix are only $169/pp.
