    POR or POFQ???

I have also stayed at both POFQ and RS numerous times. They both have definite positives and negatives, but I think it mostly depends on what you like most at a hotel. If you prefer a smaller atmosphere/convenience as OurLaughingPlace already mentioned then POFQ is for you. I have also found the...

    Pirates Queue... Left or Right?

My mom and I almost always go left and we have never been in the longer line (weird I know haha). Once years ago at night we went left and there was nobody in the entire hallway down...except for captain jack sparrow and another pirate. They were standing very still as though they were fake, I...

    Best food court

I think Port Orleans Riverside had a really nice food court, as well as the TV dinners at POP. :thumbsup2

    What ages for character meals?

I still enjoy character meals and I am 17 haha. Personally I would not go without having a little cousin with me (we tend to visit WDW with them). But at age nine I would totally go. If it doesn't end up being his thing blame it on the food (as previously stated), then it's NBD :) hope you have...

Im pretty sure Contemporary has them but i am not 100% sure. I also know that BWI has them (as Elaw said) :)

    Will This Work? Le Cellier

That sounds like an excellent time, great choice too if later on you want to watch the fireworks or go back to a different part of the park for a fast pass return. That is so considerate of you to think that you could disrupt someone's evening, :thumbsup2 (although im sure there would be no...

    Best meal at Disney

Oh my goodness, what a hard decision...I would have to say for experience the best meal I had was at the Hoopdy doo music review. My little cousin (on his birthday) got to go on stage and be the rescue cowboy, and he got his own strawberry shortcake with candles in it (he turned 8). For food...

Live out of a suitcase or use the storage in the room

My family always unpacks, my mom gets two shelves and i get one haha, but i get to keep my stuff in the bathroom (shampoo and such). My aunt's family however lives out of suitcases and it is a disaster area haha :)

    Your favorite?

Hi My2lovedisney :) I hope the following is at least a bit helpful haha. I really enjoy staying at POFQ and POR, they are really great Moderates. Neither has a buffet, but they each have really tasty food courts. In fact, I don't know of any other resort that has a buffet. If a buffet/restaurant...

    POR or CSR

I vote staying with POR, it has a lot of extras that CSR doesnt have (like the boat to DTD and the sister resort). CSR is also really widely spread out, which may be a challenge with your young girls. However if you want a change from POR i would give POFQ a shot :thumbsup2

POP Century ~ Unofficially the Grooviest FAQ Thread #5 ~ Sept 2011

I have stayed there a few times and we always request the 50's section. It is super close to a walk way to the busses :) just stay away from the 90's section, some of it is really far away from the main part of the resort.

Which Moderate Hotel do you prefer?

I have stayed at all of the moderates and here is the list of favorites and why: 1. POFQ- great food, smaller grounds (but still connected to POR if you would like to go for a walk), and a boat connection to DTD. Also the first stop for buses (handy for after EMH). 2. POR- great food...

    Microwave oven at POFQ

yes, there is a microwave (or 2 i cant quite remember) in the food court area. I have never seen a line for it, so it is probably very handy to use :thumbsup2

    POR or Cornado Resort

I vote POR, I love it, never had a bad stay there. I have also stayed at CSR and just didn't love it as much. I know you have a lot of votes in both directions, however i feel that the smaller resort of POR will suit your child's age the best. Even though you will probably be using a stroller...

Got the Resort Picked,But the Month???

I have been there the Halloween week you selected and the week after thanksgiving, personally i vote week after thanksgiving. I feel that it is a bit more festive, and filled with less teenagers (I am 17 so i know its hypocritical haha). However I am sure you will have a great trip no matter...

    Coronado Springs Tips or Advice?

CSR is not my favorite resort but im sure you guys will have a blast! look over the resort map and find the closest building to the pool or the main food area (its a huge resort, so this could save some sore feet at the end of the day). Im not sure of any children activities but i am sure other...

    Suggestions for Girls Only Trip

I have never done the fireworks package (sounds like fun though :)), so my vote goes to Le cellier, I have never had a bad experience there (and i have been there a lot haha). I hope you have a great trip :)

    Suggestions for character meals

I have always had great experiences at the Crystal palace, Garden grill, and the Norway princess breakfast (this one is particularly a great memory, when i was little I was chosen as princess of the day and got some fun gifts that came with it :)). I hope that you and your daughter have a...
