I couldn't agree more...those fundraisers are horrible. My biggest issue with them is the fact that the companies that provide the fundraiser opportunity are making 50 to 60% of the sales....it is now a multi-billion dollar industry. I'd rather just write a check and know that ALL of my money...

My boys did this last October and LOVED it! We scheduled it for the first full day we were there so it got their Disney adventure started in grand style! DH and I spent the 2 hours exploring the GF and having a quiet breakfast.

We sent our boys on the Pirate Adventure from the Grand Floridian. It's a 2 hour treasure hunt around 7 Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. The cast members were great, I had no problem sending DSs 10 and 8 with out us. They had a blast!
