Anyone staying in Manhattan before the cruise? We have never been to NY before, so it's the blind leading the blind. I keep meaning to print out a map of Manhattan/downtown. We have 1 night before the cruise and 1 night after. Any hotel suggestions??? :dance3:

CAL Dis2007 from California; Me, DH, & DS 7 Cabin #5509 We just returned from the Dream and did the FE gift exchange.

We had a family oceanview cabin with a porthole; we loved this category. This was the largest cabin we have ever stayed in. There were 3 of us and our son loved the bed next to the porthole window. There aren't many of these cabins on each deck though; I think there are 5 aft and 5 forward.

There are lots of Oak trees at Hilton Head. They have strange dry moss hanging from them. Nice balcony's with 2 rocking chairs. The main lodge building is nice. HH has a campground feel to it.

This was our first trip and we actually enjoyed getting breakfast at the Disney resort -French Toast, Mickey waffles, bagel sandwich and eating it on our balcony. I really liked the bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich!!

We were in a studio in the Live Oak Lodge. Loved the location. The staff at the front desk is out of this world; very nice staff, excellent service. I was sooo sad to leave :-( Now I just have to plan another trip to HHI.
