    Advice for teen weight loss?

Thank you. It took a lot of work, but I'm glad I managed to do it. I graduated in 2011, but it was definitely rewarding to go to prom in a small instead of an XL.

    Advice for teen weight loss?

I had to bump this up, just to say that not only did I reach my goal, I surpassed it. I'm at 150 pounds, and I've been that way since October of 2010. And I can't be happier.

What did WE celebrate? .. 30 days of Disney fun and food! Update 04/02

Wow, we have to make sure we hit the WPE next time we're at the resort, it's like a hidden gem. Usually the family skips over anything that isn't in the parks or at a resort.

Would you go out of your way for Beaches n' cream or WCC?

Considering your location, I'd absolutely trek to the Whispering Canyon. Just make sure to stroll around the Wilderness Lodge beforehand, it's gorgeous and really relaxes you... you'll need to be relaxed to enjoy the Whispering Canyon. :P

    Introduce Yourself Thread

My god, it's been quite a while Disboards. I used to be really active here back when VMK was around, but I disappeared when the site closed and I've been periodically peeping in to see how things were ever since. But now, I'm back. New attitude, new look, you name it. Name's Alec, stitchon...

    Please check this out

I have to agree with Cyre on this one. We really need to accept that VMK isn't coming back and cherish the time we had with it in the first place.

Chefs Domain - hard to get?

I believe they are referring to the Chef's Domain at Citricos. Essentially "Chef's Table Lite", it's a private dining room with a direct door to the kitchen and custom appetizers/desserts as well as uber-personalized service. When I went in 2006, you could order off the menu and get that menu...

    Universal Resorts vs. Nick Hotel?

I'd definitely go with the Universal resorts. The Nick Hotel is a longer trek and the Universal Resorts have boat service around the resort, front of the line privilages, and the parks are much closer. Not to mention the accomodations are so much better at the Universal Resorts compared to the...

Grand Californian Theme Park View worth it with DCA construction?

Hmm... I'd prefer Downtown Disney view, because I adore the music they play at night at you are right there in the middle of Downtown Disney.... the downside would be noise pollution, but it's worth it.

    Fastpass going away???

Fastpass does terrible things to queue times for most rides, so much that chances are that queue times would be faster if Fastpass didn't exist.... However, I don't see Disney doing away with FP just yet. I can see Disneyland dropping it, but not the entire group of resorts.

Grand Californian Theme Park View worth it with DCA construction?

Theme Park View GCH rooms face the Grizzly Peak area of the park, where there is no construction work being done at this time; so don't worry about construction potentially ruining your view. On the other hand, I find GCH's rooms to be too small and would rather stay at the Disneyland Hotel...
