Yes, the music does play in your cabana. It is Island Music and there is a volume knob so you can turn it up/down/off. I don't believe you can rock out loudly to it so you should not be able to hear your neighbors music if you do not want any. You can also turn on/off the ceiling fan.

You can purchase sand toys there for your kids. They also have inner tubes and float mats you can rent. I believe you can get life jackets for free but they sell childrens floaties as well at the gift shop.
