following... We are considering a return next year for my DD's Senior Year Send Off. Fingers Crossed! Anyone know of likely promotions this time next year? I can't remember when they typically offer room discounts or Free Dining.

I'm just back to the DIS. What is the HUB? We are planning a last minute trip Dec 18-27. We've never gone over Christmas day and the kiddos are nervous about missing Christmas morning at home. I think if we get some good pixie dust magic, they will be able to forgive us :-)

Graduation trip for DW!

You will love the family suite, especially with the baby. Mom, Dad, and baby get a quiet room with a queen bed. Great for nap time! We've stayed in the family suites twice, and I highly recommend them.:thumbsup2

I don't know all the resorts that accomodate a fam of 5, but I know that family suites at ASM and some rooms at Port Orleans Riverside can accomodate fam of 5. We have stayed in family suites twice and LOVE IT, and next week we are going to give POR a try.

How does the timing work to get multiple FP's? If I remember correctly, I can't get FP's for a second ride until the start time of an existing FP window. In other words, if I rush to get a Soarin' FP, and it shows a 11:00-? time, when can I get another FP for Test Track (or any other FP ride)?

That may be the saddest Disney story I've ever heard.:sad1: :sad2: I hope I never have to say that eating at Ponderosa is the high point of a vacation dining experience...

We can't wait to escape the cold weather and soak up some Disney Magic. :cool1: Hopefully the weather is nice. 2009 was "cold" before we arrived, but warmed up nicely.

mandymelons... I'm sad that you are not free to express your opinion that a few guests are taking advantage of Disney's excellent accomodations for those with special needs. I have also witnessed the few who appear to be taking advantage, and I would be lying if said that I was not annoyed...

We have stayed in the ASM Suites twice. When the kids were younger (3&5) we asked for and got a quiet room (back side of Calypso). When the kids were a bit older (5&7) we asked for and got a room closer to the pool (front side of Jazz). Both were great and had very easy access to buses...
