There are actually arcades on both sides with a great Victorian theme, working gas lamps etc. you can also gain access to the shops from these arcades. If this development is similar, it should be excellent. I suspect however that it won't be that intricate as it won't be open all the time.

I wouldn't be too concerned. We've booked online every time and just printed out the confirmation and taken it to the desk on arrival. Even if they don't have a record of your booking, they will sort you out a bus to get on with that confirmation email.
