sorry, but it really comes out sounding like you look down on her.
as far as the pity you feel for her kids goes, lots of children have grown up just fine having never once been to the beach or an amusement park. :upsidedow
what socio-economicbackground if she from? it can't be all that different from yours if she can afford to live next door.
i wouldn't feel comfortable sending kids over to hang out with an elderly couple without a capable adult to watch them. maybe you could approach it that way...
generally, you already have to be working in a marketable field for a headhunter to take an interest. the employers are looking for experienced people, not those changing careers. :)
i agree. maybe mil's a little resentful of having your family living in her house for a year, yet taking 2 disney trips within 6 months. :confused3 can't say i blame her.
How do I go about presenting this to her teachers,
Her parents will be the one to talk to the teachers
so who is talking to the teachers? you posted 2 contradictory statements. i posted your statements in different colors in case you get confused.
:thumbsup2
do you have a digital camera? You can upload them to walmart's 1-hour photo and it's not expensive. Mini-flower pots are usually on sale at the big craft stores this time of year. Decorate the flower pot, make a flower with the picture/construction paper/pipe cleaners and attach it to foam...
i would too, but it is too trivial to get upset over. :headache: the child needs to deal with that one. do work = go to specials.
i do like joyg's ideas about the movie or some other fun activity the child misses, rather than their special. :thumbsup2
either way - not worth...
