Are you on the dining plan? If so, I'd say then yes, probably to ensure you get all of the TS meals you want, I'd reserve. But if not, then I'd say just wing it. That way your not worrying about getting the most out of your dining points. Whatever you do, I'm sure you'll have an amazing...

We plan to go next year around the beginning of May. My youngest daughter's birthday isn't until the end of May, but I was thinking that since we will be at Disney, maybe it would be extra special for her if we have a small early celebration with a cake, maybe at Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park...
