8 nights at the Poly.

We will be there as part of our trip which starts this Sunday (15th).

The photographers were there in May 2007 and May 2009. We leave in a couple of days for our May 2011 trip.:woohoo:

I wear an older pair of prescription "Transitions" glasses (sunglasses outside, normal glasses inside). I bought a strap that goes over the ends of the ear parts of the frames. These hold them snug. I have been asked to take them off and hold them a couple of times, on body slides.

It looks like the "official" Disney calendars have been updated today.

Don't worry, you are not alone. I develop software & hardware for 3G systems used by ATT and others. My cell phone is the "free" one given by my service provider. I have sent one text message in my life, and that was just to my oldest daughter when she got her first phone :) BTW, everyone...

We are in the $0 crowd. We don't even carry our phones with us in the park. We leave them locked in our resort room safe, and just check when we are back there for emergency messages.

Agreed that this special occasion fireworks is spectacular from the beach. The fireworks we saw from the Poly in 2007 were like the shot posted by BabyDovesx2, which I don't consider spectacular (from that distance).

Agreed, although the crowds might bother some, especially at very busy times. Some of the fireworks don't go too high, so I don't think you get a very good view of those from the Poly, and in any case they are a fair distance away. We only watched from the Poly when our kids were younger...

Never, just barefoot. We always go in May. One visit the pavement had gotten hot in a few places and we had to move quickly to the next wet/shaded spot.

We'll just miss you. We arrive on the 15th and leave on the 23rd, staying at the Poly.

We do (1) as well. We also have Disney water-proof(?) cases on lanyards, but that is mostly for the other parks, where we might get wet -- Splash Mountain, Kali River Rapids, or simple rain.

We always get a large locker for the 5 of us, holding 5 pairs sandals/flip-flops 5 sets of clothes 5 towels assorted cameras, wallets, etc I would think a small locker would probably be enough for 2.

I agree. Take MK for example. The railroad encompassing the park has a length of 1.5 miles. You would have to walk in circles around the park 10 times to reach 15 miles. The distance around the World Showcase in Epcot is a similar size. Think of it another way... Average human walking speed...

You could really ask that question about everything at Disney. I think it's all about the theming and the Disney atmosphere in general. We go to both waterparks every trip (weather permitting) and sometimes do one a second time.
