    Are people using Genie+?

We were there 3-10. I had zero intention of using it, but after the first day we decided to and it was great. It allowed us to sleep in every morning instead of arriving at park opening. My husband got a few hours of work in each morning, our littles got plenty of rest, etc.. while I stacked...

How badly do I need Genie + or Lightning Lane?

As an update.. We ended up not only doing genie + but also paid ILL for all those rides. :) Our first magic day worked out well enough, but we decided to bring food in in our stroller and pay for genie+ instead and it worked out so well. Our last 3 days we actually slept in, arrived at...

    Pads or tampons?

My husband and our 3 teens are at islands of adventures now. Unexpectedly one needed the emergency pads I had packed and needs more. Anyone know a place in the park they could buy more?

Dumb question, but do I get new tickets every day?

Picked up our ticket cards this morning, our first of 5 days. Do I get new cards tomorrow or are these good for all 5 days?

How badly do I need Genie + or Lightning Lane?

I saw this mentioned after I posted. Is there a way around it? Thankfully none of us are huge star wars fans which helps but the ride looks great.

How badly do I need Genie + or Lightning Lane?

Thanks! That's helpful. I also don't want to stress about my phone, specific times, etc.. the entire trip. I'm perfectly fine doing a bit less if needed. :)

How badly do I need Genie + or Lightning Lane?

We are actually staying off property so I know that'll make a bit of a difference but it sounds like we'll be okay without.

How badly do I need Genie + or Lightning Lane?

We haven't went to Disney in over 10 years and it's um.. changed a bit lol. I obsessively planned for those trips 12 and 10 years ago. This trip was originally planned pre-covid and fell right after lockdown so we postponed. Then we postponed again. Through a combination for being scared...

New Discounts for Early 2021 - Jan 3 through April 17 - Added October 21

I feel like I'm missing something. If I try to book for the last week in March with the discount, it's HIGHER than the exact trip we were thinking about doing in August? Are the rooms priced differently at different times? It's showing a discount, but showing the original price of the room...

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

I've been wrong before but I'd bet good money it won't last that long.

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

I wonder when (or if) we'll get a time line for when restrictions will be lifted. Our trip is the first week in October. I'm actually fine with many of the restrictions, but don't want to fight my 2 and 3 year old over a mask for a week when we can just reschedule if needed.

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

This is my concern for Disney. We aren't going until october so I'm holding out on hope that restrictions will be lifted a bit by then but I can just IMAGINE keeping a mask on my 2 and 3 year old. The rest of the family it's not a huge deal, but yeah.. that wouldn't work lol

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

It's 2020 and this is what we have for distance conference calls lol.

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

Are any of you following the Shanghai Disney frequent flyers on Instagram? Several are posting stories showing the changes there, and while Disney is trying a lot if it is kind of being ignored. One girl said it's not disrespect, just that Shanghai has been back to normal in a lot of ways and...

How do you feel about wearing a mask at Disney parks?

Our trip is planned oct 2-9. If they are required then we'll pass. My 17 year old has to wear one all day at work and is breaking out from it. I wear them when I go places so I'm not anti mask, I just don't see it enhancing the vacation we're spending over $10,000 for. I can't imagine...

Easiest place (reasonably priced) to stay with a large family?

Personally I like the idea of 2 value rooms. However, my husband honestly dislikes Disney but lives "camping" (we usually get a cabin) so that seems like this would help our chances of going back the next year lol.

Easiest place (reasonably priced) to stay with a large family?

I'm pricing out a cabin and 2 adjoining rooms. I like the idea of shoving the older kids into one hotel room to give us some space lol. I've been to disney once when we stayed off the property and we are 1, bad with directions and 2- hate driving. On site is much better for us lol

Easiest place (reasonably priced) to stay with a large family?

I'm thinking about booking a trip for this fall. The last time we went to Disney our now 12 year old was 2. We've since added 2 kids for a total of 5 kiddos which knocks us out of all of the cheaper room options. We have a 17, 14, and 12 as well as a 2 and 3 year old so I'd like to have...

worth $600 more? suite over reg. room?

Yeah.. I'd rather go and be squashed than not go at all! We weren't really in the room much to be honest. However, i think we'll spring for a suite next time around.
