We've done free regular dining almost every year since 2007, and have always gotten the mug included. I have an entire cupboard full of them! :)

I am totally feeling your pain! We told the kids as well, thinking we would get the free dining like we do every other year for our week in August. But the cost of food for 5 people along with the crazy airfares this year, and I don't know how we're gonna swing it either. :confused:

We've gone the last week of August every year for awhile now, and for the most part, the crowds aren't too bad. We go this time of year because Free Dining usually starts then, and we don't mind the heat. Most rides are a 30 minute wait or so. The more popular ones will still be 60-90...

I was wondering about payment as well. We usually put money on a Disney giftcard throughout the year as our spending money. Now I get this offer! All of our spending money is tied up in giftcards!! Does anyone know if I can use a Disney giftcard to pay for it?? Otherwise, I'll call tonight...
