How difficult is Virgin Gorda at Tortola?

We used regular backpacks -- they weren't waterproof. It's pretty easy to keep a backpack dry through the caves.

How difficult is Virgin Gorda at Tortola?

Definitely a waterproof camera. We also took towels, sunscreen, and water (Devil's Bay has no concessions).

    Tortola?

My 8 & 10 year olds liked the Semi-Sub and Coral World ... it's not a big aquarium, but it suits the amount of time you have on the excursion.

How difficult is Virgin Gorda at Tortola?

The entrance from the Baths is probably the smallest place -- so if you make it through there, you're probably good for the rest of it. There were only two places that I remember seeming small (both pictured). For the first one, I went through on my hands and knees (I'm 5'6", medium build, and...

    Tortola?

We took the one without lunch -- I think the only difference is lunch, though the one with lunch may be longer. I posted several pics on this thread -- including the two tightest spaces: http://www.disboards.com/threads/how-difficult-is-virgin-gorda-at-tortola.3476689/ The beginning is the...

How difficult is Virgin Gorda at Tortola?

We've done the 4 hour one through Disney twice -- it is enough time at the beach for me, but I don't love sitting on the beach for a long time. If you want to spend more time exploring in the caves or sitting on the beach, you may want to book a longer one or look into going on your own. We...

How difficult is Virgin Gorda at Tortola?

There are bathrooms at the Top of the World and some facilities at the Baths (I have been told there are restrooms down there, but I didn't verify that for myself). There are NOT any facilities of any kind on the Devil's Bay side -- we had a large group and it was crowded, so it took about...

    Tortola Excursion Reviews

We have done the Baths twice using Disney's excursions and have no complaints. I posted several pics here http://www.disboards.com/threads/how-difficult-is-virgin-gorda-at-tortola.3476689/#post-55019903

How difficult is Virgin Gorda at Tortola?

You definitely want shoes for the trails leading down to the beach -- and we all wore Teva type shoes through the caves -- there are spots where you are climbing up a rock face with a rope handrail and the extra grip is useful. There are sandy areas in both the Baths and Devil's Bay (Devil's...

How difficult is Virgin Gorda at Tortola?

It is probably not a good idea though it may be ok if you were to go and stay one one side or the other without going through the Caves. You get dropped off at the Top of the World -- an area with a restaurant and some shops. There is a relatively short path down to the Baths that requires...

Disney Fantasy Eastern Virgin Islands ~ Jan 2, 2016

As for Tortola excursions - there were several BVI excursions offered last time, but I don't think I saved the list. For anyone willing to scour a bunch of posts, some are discussed on our prior cruise thread http://www.disboards.com/threads/dec-5-2009-now-traveling-to-tortola.1655503/page-38...

Wild Africa Trek possible food illness. UPDATE - Final Report

We were told there was a 2 day cancellation policy. We went on the tour 7/25 and had a great time - fortunately without illness. They did serve melon, and everyone used hand sanitizer before eating.
