Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

I was there last week. Still far… Disney Springs was also the only place we had to wait any length of time for a bus. Otherwise, transportation was excellent

Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

Just got back Sunday from a stay at POP. We had 2 rooms booked and requested adjoining or near each other and 70s. When we arrived (early around 9:30am) we got a text that one room was ready and in the 90s. Then it changed to 70s and back to 90s over the next 10 minutes. So we went to the desk...

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

We just got back on Sunday. We didn’t use DAS, but we used LL a lot and also had a wheelchair so we were conscious of crowds around us. I think the big problem is all the ride downtimes. When this happens, you get all those anytime LLs which can cause backup in the LLs. I don’t think we made it...

So it appears the crowds are very high right now even though some sites predicted low crowds. Is there a reason why the uptick?

Same; we just got back on Sunday and thought the crowds were pretty low. Much lower than when we there in April 2022. We used a combo of Genie+ and rope drop and didn’t wait more than 15/20 minutes for anything. There were a lot of ride breakdowns, but we were generally able to work around then.

Which resort for our next trip?

I am going to go in a different direction and say that if she always started at Shades of Green, then she has monorail memories/ memories of staying in the MK resort area. If you want to create new special memories, what about a skyliner resort?

What does allergy-friendly mean in WDW? - post trip report

FYI, there is a bakery at Disney Springs that is gluten free, Erin McKenna’s. My daughter (vegan) has gotten treats from there as they are also dairy and egg free and she really likes what they have. As someone who usually finds gluten free treats too dense in texture, I don’t feel that way...

Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

So excited! Just booked two standard rooms at POP for Aug. 15th-20th. There will be 6 of us. Me, DH, DS24, DD20, and taking 2 nieces ages 10 and 12. DD and I were last at POP in 2021, but it will be a first stay at POP for DH and first time staying on property for my nieces. They were last at...

Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

We like the 70s the best for non preferred. 2nd choice is the 50s. We had a 70s lake view room that was so quiet, yet not far from anything. Honestly, I would take a non preferred room over a pool view room any day for the noise level.

    Teacher advice needed

I wish you luck; these situations are never easy. One other thing (and I am not at all saying this is happening), be careful that you don't lose control of the rest of the class because of this one student. I have seen it happen. A teacher spends so much time trying to manage the out of control...

    Teacher advice needed

    1) Create a paper trail. Document everything. (Not just super violent incidents, but the smaller ones that you are dealing with). People will often ignore what they think are isolated incidents, but when you can look at it all together it can be eye opening. If your school has referral forms...

    Oahu Suggestions for Adults

Went to Oahu in August with DH and 2 adult children. Some of our favorite things were: snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, hiking Diamond Head, going to a Luau, Pearl Harbor, and swimming At Waikiki beach at Sunset. If you are near Waikiki you must get some malasadas from Leonard’s! Be sure to research...

Help with Boston MA public transportation

Just want to clarify the whole near Fenway Park as that could be one of a few different stations. The actual closest station to Fenway Park itself is Kenmore. To get to Kenmore you could take the B, C, or D green line. The Fenway stop is further up the road on the D line. There are other stops...
