Sorry if I made it sound like a "duh" sorta answer- I'm home sick today, so I'm a bit flat. It really wasn't a silly question at all, and I think Ridemax could use some upgrades in the user-friendly department. I've considered emailing them with suggestions, but never get around to it. I end...
Ridemax won't schedule your Magic Mornings, but in "Tips and Hints" if you look in the "Watch out for Early Entry" section, they have recommended Magic Morning itineraries.
GRR is a popular ride, but not until the afternoons when it warms up. The fastpass stations are closed when the park opens (since there is no wait yet), and then open up later. I think the thought is that the WOC showpasses will go fast, and will "sell-out" before GRR fastpass distribution...
Our boys (5 & 7) went to Pinocchio's workshop back in September for a few hours while DH and I had a massage at the Spa. They both really enjoyed it, and have talked about wanting to go back. Dinner is available, and as I recall it was very inexpensive, something like $5 per child. I actually...
Yep, we called right after we picked up our bags and they told us to go right outside baggage claim to be picked up- you don't have to drag your bags upstairs to the shuttle area. They were there in under 10 minutes (I'm guessing closer to 5 minutes- it didn't feel like a long wait at all), and...
Supershuttle also runs a "Business Express ExecuCar" service from both LAX and SNA where you get your own private car (it's a minivan, actually). They will pick you up right outside baggage claim and take you straight to your hotel. Here's a direct link for the service. It also comes up as an...
We had the good fortune to stay in unit #6504 on opening night. Here is a stitched panorama of the view from the balcony:

The roof to the left won't obscure World of Color at all, although the angle might...
We will be there opening night too, and technically staying for just one night, although we will be at the GCH for the next three nights, using the hotel stay we got when we purchased our GCV points at the Disneyland event back in March. I don't know if they are going to give us anything...
The most likely reason is that they were doing the room assignments, and realized that they needed to switch you between a dedicated studio and a lockoff studio or vice-versa. This happened to me with my AKV studio last year, and it showed online as a cancellation of the ressie, then a...
I'm guessing this isn't the site thelionqueen uses, because the site address isn't blocked, but disneygeek has LOTS of construction photos going back all the way back to August 2007, when the parking lot was still there...
I'm guessing SoCalKDG's "Grizzly River Rapids" units are the same as dwelty's "Redwood Creek challange trail" units.
SoCalKDG- I'm mostly getting your numbers, but are you sure it isn't 12 pool and 24 Lagoon/Boardwalk?
We will be there opening night in a studio- I'm counting the days! It was kind of funny because about a week before they announced the opening day date change, we had booked Sept 24 - 27th in the GCH using the 3-day stay we got as part of buying at the Grand Firsts event. Then when they...
We will be there opening night in a studio, and then Thurs-Sunday in the regular hotel rooms using the 3-night stay we got as part of the Grand Firsts event back in March.
Are you sure? Last year I had heard that all guests of the GCH were allowed to pool-hop to the DLH. No other hopping was allowed, however. But this may have changed, or been bad info to start with.
OP- you may want to call the GCH and ask.
I will- I'm trying for a studio or 1BR for Sept 23 (1st night). We were already going to be staying the 24-26 in the hotel using the 3 night stay that we got at the Grand Firsts event at Disneyland back in March. Then when the opening date got changed, I figured I may as well see if we could...
As I recall, the standard line for the DL hotels is that you get one magic morning entry with your stay. Currently, you get it for every magic morning that occurs during your stay, so I think the policy will the the same for DVC.
