Yikes, that’s high. Is there any real financial savings to DVC over rack rate when the interest is that high? I’d pay off student loans and sell DVC and use the money I was paying towards both to save until I could buy a resale account without that high rate.

Unfortunately, every restriction they add to resale makes purchasing direct less and less desirable, as a strong resale market is a solid reassurance that buying into this expensive timeshare plan has a reasonable exit strategy. They are shooting themselves in the foot by doubling down this way...

Yes on the ride closures! We tried FOUR times to ride Indiana Jones because it kept going down. We had Genie+, so got a freebie LL every time it went down, which was nice, but we ended the night with 20 unused unassigned LL (group of five, ride went down four times).

We used this entrance as well after the bellhop told us about it. The security guard or ticket lady there scolded us for using it, telling us it was only for Paradise Pier guests. Weird.
