Every cruise we have taken (5 so far) has been last minute GTY. We've never had a bad cabin and have found advantages to every location on the ship. I've also found that booking this way has made our trips more relaxed; knowing you can't plan everything is somewhat freeing! Have a wonderful trip.

We did this on the Dream in July; the tasting consisted of five champagnes and sparkling wines. It was great fun. There was also a champagne cocktail tasting ofreed on our cruise but I don't know any details on that. And yes the Moët ice imperial is delicious!

We booked a recent Dream cruise very close to the departure date. I checked online every day and was thrilled to find a reservation. So, keep trying online until you leave, and if that doesn't work you can try at the port. We LOVED our brunch!

I had this same concern and confirmed with my trip insurer that this situation would be covered under the trip interruption coverage included in my policy. I think this is fairly standard coverage but it never hurts to check.

I also highly recommend KSC. We took our Brownie troop there last year (7 and 8 year olds) and they all loved it. It was a great blend of fun and learning for grown ups and kids alike.

I had the same problem and called DCL about it earlier this week. They told me not to worry about it since the contract is mailed to you prior to sailing or available at the port when you check in.

Hello everyone - We will be on the Wonder on 2/11 also. This will be our fourth Disney cruise. We our bringing our DD (9) and looking forward to a few days of relaxation. I am glad to know we are not the only parents pulling their kid(s) out of school for the trip!
