    Never Again in February

I agree. DW and I went for our 10 year anniversary in 2007. We arrived the Thursday before Labor day. There was a noticeable drop off in crowd level after Labor Day. We then went again in 2009 but this time in mid September and we were surprised with the crowd sizes. It wasn't ridiculous by...

They would have to pay me $ to eat at...

Garden Grill. The food was just nasty, the wait staff not attentive and the character interaction was minimal at best. Really, the food was the worst part of it though.

Hey there folks. This is really last minute, I realize but we are leaving for home tommorow morning at 8 a.m. We have a coffee maker, coffee and possibly some bottles of water available very early tommorow for anyone who is currently staying at POP. If anyone is interested, send me a PM.

OFFICIAL - New Fantasyland Rumour is TRUE!

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree about the whole boys thing. For years now Disney has, imo, gone out of their way to market towards girls and what's in the parks is a reflection of that. All one needs to do is simply look at the number of things that are on property that cater to the girls and...

How close to your travel dates have you had Priceline pick up your bid?

I don't know if this helps or not, but we're 10 days away from leaving and right now Priceline is offering me $23 a day for a minivan. Up until about 4 or 5 days ago I couldn't get the offer below $30 a day.

Nah. Watching the kids grow up and helping DW where I can is all the reward I need...well, that and maybe some lemonade slushies from MK :rotfl2: It's our first MNSSHP as well, so we'll keep an eye out for you as well. Hope to see you there!

    3D Show

Yeah, I went with Philharmagic too. I agree with the others Muppets 3D is great, but its age is starting to show. If they refurbed it, well...then things miiight be a little different as to which I think is best.:lmao:

Anyone else going to MNSSHP on 9/22?

We're planning on going on the 22nd as well! We do plan on dressing up, just not sure as what yet, though I'm trying to convince me eldest son to go as Hades.

Epcot crowds during weekends of F&W Festival?

We're going 9/17-9/28 and I wanted to do F&W for the first time but don't want to deal with the crowds. We comprimised on it and are going the Thursday before it officially starts so we can hopefully try a few things on it's soft opening. That's also our last day we have planned to go to Epcot...

Official WDW September hours are posted

I'm only seeing the hours for Epcot (Future World only) and the water parks. No EMH's listed either. Still, it's some progress at least.

    DME Luggage only experiences

I know there is a sticky about how to do a luggage only DME, but was wondering if anyone has actually done this and if so, did they hit any snags with it? We're a family of 7 and renting a minivan at MCO, so not having to wait for our luggage would be very helpful.

Have you ever cried on a ride before?

Yeah, count me in the Mushy Man Club, too. My wife and I went for our 10 yr anniv in 2007 and there were a few times I teared up. American Adventure got to me pretty good. My wife asked me as we exited if I had been crying. I, of course, shook and my head and said no. She chuckled, slipped her...

I'm bummed about my AirTran tickets

I'm in a not so great situation with JetBlue. We're going 9/17-9/28 and wanted to fly out of Stewart in Newburgh on JetBlue. I'm glad they finally came out with the schedule, but the prices are way to high. Seems SWF is the airport that JetBlue forgot. They only operate one flight in and out...

Can 40% off pin be used for ASMu family suites?

We just tried to book an ASMu suite using the 40% PIN I got for our stay 9/17-9/28 and were told the ASMu suited were booked up for that time period. I even called back to make sure that was correct. Hope your dates are earlier than that!

    Nasty food in parks??

When we went in 2007 we had a mixed bag as meals went. Most were good, a few were so-so like Sci-Fi and Liberty Tree, but the one place that was just positively horrible was Garden Grill. It was so inedible that we left after just a few bites. Considering how starved we were, that's saying...

    September?

We were there both pre and post Labor Day in '07. There were some decent crowds there on the holiday weekend when we arrived, nothing horrible though. It was interesting to be in the parks on Labor Day though, because the crowd sizes were a little lighter than the day before and as the day wore...
