My original Garmin was named "Bunny"- I have no idea why. Now I have a new one and downloaded the Darth Vader voice so we call it Darth Bunny!
Darth gets very irritated when you don't go where he says......
Yay for Day 1!!!
You know, I should just lose enough weight to borrow all your cute clothes for this years trip! That would make my month long packing fun easier......
(Oh, and you know I continually roll my eyes at the IL's- sigh)
We used Fairy Godmothers last year for 3 boys- aged 3, 7, and 8. The sitter was wonderful- very grandmothery! The lady who runs the company seems a little crusty, but she is super organized and easy to deal with. We'll be using them again.
We leave on Monday (7-11 through 7-15) for a last-minute SURPRISE (for the 8 year old) trip!!! Staying at Ramada Maingate, and very very stressed about not being able to plan anything like I do for WDW! I keep telling myself that it is a different park and we'll be fine, but the planner in me...
and I am a little bummed already!! LOL I read hydroguy (hope that is the right name) whole thread about DL for WDW'ers, and now I feel even more confused. We were planning on going in October for my sons Fall Break, but it looks like they basically don't have any shows/parades/fireworks...
No Boy Scouts ever- for the same reasons as have been mentioned already.
I would probably let him try most everything else. I don't like soccer, so I would discourage him from that though.
My 7 year old LOVES:
Coral Reef
Teppan Edo
T-Rex
Sci-Fi
WCC
Le Cellier (we have had really great waiters there)
He also requested Hoop De Doo this year.
so y'all please forgive me!!!
We are driving down next Sat. and due to several issues- we are planning on driving to the parks every day from SSR instead of the bus. I cannot find any addresses to put into the GPS though, and if memory serves, the signage getting us to parks really stinks...
My 7 year old only LOVES WDW! My DH doesn't like to travel so that week is special Mommy and Jacob time every year. We go every fall break from school and start planning the next trip as soon as we get home!
Jacob is 7, and his top choices (in no particular order) are:
Teppan Edo
Coral Reef
Whispering Canyon
Sci Fi
Chefs de France
CRT
Le Cellier
We're eating at them all this trip except Sci Fi, and that one is on my "never go back to again no matter what" list.
