We're going the 2nd week in Feb. and one of my biggest concerns is that it'll be too cold for the ocean/beach/pool! Granted, I'm coming from Michigan so anything above 15 degrees F will be warm but I really was hoping for a "tropical" mid-winter getaway! :)

Thank you for your replies. You've helped me get an idea whether or not the boys would do OK on this ride. DH says "they'll be fine" so we'll do it. I'll let you know how well it was received ;)

I have a 3 y/o and 6 y/o that are tall enough to ride Soarin. My question is: do you think that the ride and it's "flying" is too intense or scary for such young ages? Do you think visually it could make one sick? I don't know if they'd be scared or not. I do know that the 3 y/o is too "young"...

Oh thanks for the passporter board tip! I never thought of writing notes on my maps....maybe I'll just use them sans lamination since you guys report that they pretty much hold up nicely!

If you laminated the maps from the PassPorter, how did you carry them around? Did the lamination make it hard to fold the map up to easily carry it? I love the maps, they're sooo much eaiser for my tired 'ole eyes to read.

I have no specific advice but I'll tell you this: I have the same camera and I'm taking it to the park after the 1st day when we've rode all the rides. That way, I can take pics of the monkeys and not have to worry about taking the camera on rides. I personally would not take it on any ride that...
