This is why I usually do a 1-post highlight of our Disney trips! I'm terrible at keeping up with these things!
So...we are 3 weeks from our Epic Disney Adventure. We've made a slight change to our Itinerary. We are going to split the driving up a bit:

Driving Day 1...
Bummer...and I feel some of his pain.
I badly sprained my ankle with about 7 1/2 weeks to go until our Disney adventure. 10 days on crutches and a week with a cane...I'm now 4 weeks from injury and 3 1/2 weeks til Disney and I'm up to walking about a mile a day. I still have some pain and...
I know I'm making mine crazy. I try to limit my "HEY AT DISNEY..." sentences to 1 per day : ) I just found an update on the "Disney Food blog" that says they will have Scotch Eggs at the Scotland booth in Epcot...which is something my boys have talked about trying to make. We are really...
The first half of August (before school starts back up) can be pretty busy.
I can't take the heat. The year we went in June was awful. Yes, we still had a great time, but the heat was oppressive and we just didn't do as much as we usually do.
I much prefer the fall. It is still...
I finally got to the fabric store and bought the rest of the supplies for our backpacks. I played hooky from work Monday and acctually got pretty far in the construction of the bags.

Ok, finally some details for our upcoming trip:
When we first started planning this trip, it was going to be 5 nights/5 days (which would be our standard length trip). But then we missed free dining by 4 days...so rather than switch weeks, we added the days, got free dining, and are still...
We don't do this...the themed back packs are our first attempt at Disney specific fashion statements. But I do enjoy people watching at Disney and the different outfits people come up with. I especially enjoy the kids in costumes. Although I have to admit we all get a bit of a giggle at the...
Reminiscing is hard to stop once you get started :confused3

Me and Minnie, 1974 on my families' first trip to Disney World. Back in the day, the characters just walked around and you stopped and had your picture made. No lines or autograph books, just pictures. Many of the more...
Ft. Wilderness Cabins. Both of our recent trips...we stayed at Ft. Wilderness (2007 & 2009). Every time we think about trying a new place...we still make our reservations for the Cabins. :)
Epcot is our favorite park and you all will enjoy your date night there. It's hard for me to pick "can't miss" attractions. I love Expedition Everest, Soaring, and Mission Space...and the Japanese pavilion, and the Rose and Crown Pub, and Pirates of the Caribbean...just keep in mind what you...
Even a quick trip to Disney is better than no Disney. You've planned and are prepared...but always be ready to go with the flow. If plans change...don't let it stress you...You are at Disney and Life is good : )
Our first trip with our kids was a 1-day pass to the Magic Kingdom. It was all...
Before I get into the details of our trip...I have to share!!!
My daughter and I are planning to make drawstring backpacks to carry for the trip. We ordered special fabric which arrived yesterday and is perfect!!!
(my first attempt to upload a photo...fingers crossed...OK...multiple...
What adorable boys : )
It really pays to plan...yet be flexible. It sounds like a contradiction...but I really believe it makes for the best vacation for all : )
I'm impressed that you have outlined your QA meals. I have a general idea of some I want to eat at...but I don't usually...
I love Disney in September : ) We are actually arriving the day you leave (had to add a couple of days to get free dining!). I look forward to more of your planning and reminiscing : )
Will I or wont I? The only trip report Ive done in the past was a very short. Now Im actually contemplating a PTR just so I have someone to obsess with and dont drive my family crazy : ) Let's see how it goes...
Who are we?
Mom (me) the hyper-planner. I love to research vacations...
Just found this thread and have to pile on the cabin love. We will have our third stay at the cabins this fall. We use the buses and never have to wait very long. For our fall trip we thought about staying at the new Art of Animation...then we remembered a few things:
-sitting on the deck...
I'm thinking about getting my hubby a nice bag to keep a few things in. The volume of stuff he insists on carrying is ridiculous. I love his car (a 2011 XB) and although there isn't a lot of space behind the back seat...there should be plenty of room for 2 adults and our stuff.
