    Who's cut the (cable) cord?

I think I understand how cutting the cord works, but please correct me if I am wrong: You can purchase an over the air antenna to (hopefully) pick up ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and PBS. All the other content you want would have to go through a Fire TV, Apple TV, or something similar. I live in...

    Packing drinks in Luggage

Use RumRunners. I pack several filled with rum when I fly to a port to go on a cruise. They have sizes from 8 to 32 ounces. I have used them at least a dozen flights [in checked baggage] to a ship and have never had a leak !!

    Magical ? Not so much.

LOL I am not at all "mad." However, anyone on an internet forum site who would presume to know anything whatsoever about myself or my wife is a not only a birdbrain, but an idiot as well.

    Magical ? Not so much.

OP here. A few points I feel compelled to mention: * While I have been a member of this board for close to 10 years now, and have over 180 posts, my post this morning was the first time I have been on this section of the board in quite some time. The only part of the site I visit on a regular...

    Magical ? Not so much.

No, this recent trip was just my wife and I - both 50 somethings. No grand kids this time. Again folks, I was and am relating my OPINION of my visit. Whether or not you agree or disagree with my opinion means absolutely nothing to me. It's my opinion and I am of course entitled to it. Have a...

    Magical ? Not so much.

My comments were ONLY about MK. The last time I checked, they do not have hotels inside the MK, with the exception of the sleep in the castle deal. So MK is not a resort in the traditional sense of the word.

    Magical ? Not so much.

LOL I did not expect you Disney folks to agree with me or even be a little sympathetic. My goal was to to relate to you - and perhaps a newbie to the site - what a non Disneyite experienced a week ago tomorrow at MK. I understand it's December, but I would not of figured that a weekday before...

    Magical ? Not so much.

And again, I will say that waiting longer than 30 minutes in ANY line to see ANY attraction after paying over $100 bucks to get in is just crazy. An over crowded park just frustrates people - especially the children, many of whom we witnessed being almost frantically rushed from one attraction...

    Magical ? Not so much.

Everyone: As I mentioned in my first post, the "review" I posted consisted of my opinions and were and are related to my personal experience at MK. I do not think that one should have to research a visit to an amusement park, but I also understand that doing the research beforehand would of...

    Magical ? Not so much.

AngiTN: All Nascar tracks allow you to bring in your own food and beverages - including beer if you want. But I understand your point.

    Magical ? Not so much.

I purposely did not do a lot of research before this visit; it was a one day / 8 hour visit. I mean, gee, it's the Magic Kingdom ! What could go wrong ?? =) I realize now that I should of done some research beforehand. I was relating my experience so that [hopefully] someone else could avoid...

    Magical ? Not so much.

I also wanted to add that I have been able to upgrade 1 park per day tickets to Park Hopper passes. I remember paying a per day up charge of like $30 bucks. We were told on this most recent visit that doing that is no longer allowed.

    Magical ? Not so much.

My wife and I purchased a no expire 8 day pass [1 park per day] about 12 years ago, and have always enjoyed all 4 of the parks. We visit Disney every year to 18 months, and usually see and experience one park per visit. We have family near Tampa, and also enjoy many other Orlando area...

    New Car Advice Please

Easy choice. #2 is newer and has way less miles. If it was me, I tell #2 about #1, and try to get the price on #2 lowered a bit. Or ask #2 to provide a 100K mile warranty. Also, I think that people with leased automobiles tend not to care for them as well as people who own the car. Just my 2...

OT - I can't believe that PayPal allows this !!

Thanks again to everyone, and a tip of the hat and smile to horseshowmom, pixiewings 71 and DianeV. For what it's worth, I've both emailed and snail mailed eBay and formally proposed that they change thier rules for items that are sold for more than $250. Buyers need to be as careful making a...

OT - I can't believe that PayPal allows this !!

I'd say that 99% of my sales have had no problems, but I guess it's that 1% that will drive you crazy huh ? I have worked hard to maintain a perfect feedback 995 score. I've never had a negative or even a neutral. I always double and triple check that my listing is accurate. I also find that...
