Agree to Disagree! DISUnplugged Show March 22!

This how I feel about what has been happing at WDW lately. Disney was known for their service and the "Disney difference". You paid a premium for that experience. I felt that it was worth the money. In the last couple of years I don't feel like the CM's are as well trained as before so, service...

Agree to Disagree! DISUnplugged Show March 22!

I'm feeling like the magic is slowly being sucked out of WDW. Everyday lately it seems like there is a new way for Disney to make another buck. If they tried this stuff at DL there would be a revolt. I use to go to WDW 5 times a year. Last year it was 2 times. This year I'm not going. My...

Strange enough this is the only photo I found of the ship on my phone.

    DLP security

Like others have said they do use scanners. I was staying at Sequoia Lodge last December and the scanners were running all the days I was there. I used the ones by the NY hotel and DTD.

I got everything in a carry-on but I'm thinking of bringing a bigger piece of luggage just because I think I'm going to bring lots of stuff home. I need to decide soon. I think the drive from the airport to DLP should be easy. It seems like it's an interstate or Highway type of road.

If you have never been to France and still are under the impression that the French are rude this podcast will explain why that is. I don't find them rude at all and this one little word has helped me so much. The word is Bonjour. http://joinusinfrance.com/are-french-people-rude-episode-9/

I was in Paris this past December and I used a regular size suitcase on that trip. I had long underwear, coats and tons of sweaters and jeans. On this trip I don't need 2 coats and long underwear. I was shocked at how much stuff my carry-on could hold.

I did a test packing last week. I have managed to pack all my toiletries and clothes in my carry on bag. I packed all my electronics in a backpack. I put the duffle bag we got from ABD in my backpack for purchases. I have €10 in change from my last trip that will be going in my bag soon. I can't...

I have AT&T. In December I used their European package so I would have data when I was not in the hotel. It worked pretty darn good for me. In Paris all city parks have free wifi. I used that numerous times. I have another kind of adaptor but I personally like this one because it fits in the...

I take me adapter on cruises too. It's nice to be able to have extra outlets.

I finally went and got my mail yesterday and read the letter for myself. On day one Viking is doing a walking tour of Stain-Germain-en-Laye. This makes me feel much better knowing that it really is not that far from the dock.

It looks like the RER A1 line stops at Saint-Germain-en-Laye. From the street map this looks like the easiest RER stop but without knowing where the boat docks I can't say for sure. If I knew about this back in December I would have jumped on the RER A1 line and checked it out. I did post a...

I'm not happy about the change of port as well. I had everything planned out and I almost booked our Eiffel Tower tickets. I need to really rethink everything and also see if there is a bus or if the metro goes out there. I really hope this is changed before we sail.

I will be having a few croissants in Paris. I haven't had time to read the entire article but I was watching a travel show and the were explaining the history of the croissant too. I'm happy that the French made it their own because the croissant is so yummy.

To be honest it depends on the time of day. It took an hour maybe a little more in traffic the two times I came in this trip. I came in early during rush hour traffic one morning and the other time was in the evening. Going to the airport very early in the morning did not take very long. I think...

I think I really figured out the area where the boat will dock. The photos are taken from the Eiffel Tower facing toward the area where I took the other pictures. This drawing from Viking says it's at Grenelle so the port should be somewhere inbetween the first big bridge and the last bridge...

I'm not sure exactly what we are doing for transfers either. It will either be Viking or Super Shuttle. As for meals, we will be having breakfast on board and lunches in port for the most part. I think most dinners will be on board as well.
