We had a pool view in April and the noise level at night wasn't bad. Most of the noise came from the splashing of one of the fountains. Plus, early in the morning the workers would make some noise with some of their vehicles. I seldom heard anything in the room but once you step outside it...

I bring a laptop with me on vacation and copy the files every day. If I have enough time I also look them over too. Once I get home I then copy them to a external hard drive as a backup.

We were there in April '13 and had a riverview room in building 5. We had a fantastic view of the river! I'm hoping to get back there next month. We were at the far corner of the building furthest from the main building but never seemed to have to walk too far.

What a Fantastic idea! I always skip the boat ride because I know I can walk it faster. I just love to new perspective you get from the boat. I've already added this as something to do when I get there next month.

If the bus is making its first stops at POR and I want to get off and walk back to POFQ should I get off at the East stop? It looks like it's closest to the Main Building and the shortest walk to POFQ. When you're on the bus what do they call the stop by the Main Building?

Just pray for no rain that day. If the pavement is wet you'll probably miss the Headless Horseman. And the Grave Diggers pictured above will march but when they scrape their shovels on the pavement you won't see any sparks. That's what happened to us in 2011. We still enjoyed the parade but...
