Can anyone read dog body language??

The dog has figured out that the boy doesn't have access to snacks, so he's much less interesting than the adults.

So what did they hire a DJ for?

    DL Grand Californian

Folks who have bought other points at DLR are "founding members" which gives them first crack at VGC points. We don't know how long their window will be.

Tipping the attendant at Alamo Sanford ?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! You weren't scammed. But you didn't have to tip the guy. In the end, no big deal. You guy a nice car and the guy got an extra bonus.

Did you have dancing at your wedding?

We had a wonderful 4-piece jazz-band + singer. They were great. Unfortunately (from a dancing standpoint) we had an indoor/outdoor reception, and the weather was spectacular, so most folks stayed outside.

    Contemporary

SSR? Yes. AKV? No. Disney can't afford to have a buidling sitting there built and empty. AKV has years to go before selling out. SSR has weeks. As the other poster said, you have to compare the 80 contracts up for resale with the tens of thousands that aren't up for sale (to be fair -...

The Clinton / McCain "October Suprise"

The President sets policy on Iraq and the Supreme Court - not what chuch folks attend. On those issues, I'll take Obama over McCain. Requoting what's important to me in the race, here's Obama judgement during the run-up to the war in Iraq... But I also know that Saddam poses no imminent and...

The Clinton / McCain "October Suprise"

From the silver lining department.... hopefully the Bush era has taught us the wisdom of electing the guy who will do what's best for the country, rather than the guy we want to have a beer with. (And, yes, the notion that teetotaling George Bush is a guy folks would want to have a beer with has...

SURVEY: Do you know you could swap reservations to any resort with another DVC member

Questions for the mods - How much extra would be involved in creating a "sticky" thread where folks would post swaps wanted. The volume would probably be low enough to keep in readable, especially if all follow-up be done via PM's.

Will there ever be A La Carte cable or Why do I need 9 channels of ESPN?

You are forgetting ESPNU, ESPN Deportes, and HD versions of the above.

The Clinton / McCain "October Suprise"

I believe that the vast majority of Hillary's supporters care more about Iraq and the Supreme Court than about Michelle Obama. I think the folks that support Hillary will see her busting her tail campaigning for Obama. They will see that her ideas are his ideas. They will see that McCain's...

The Clinton / McCain "October Suprise"

Politics is rarely mentioned from the pulpit.

The Clinton / McCain "October Suprise"

People care more about Iraq and the Supreme Court than about what somebody's wife said.

The Clinton / McCain "October Suprise"

I disagreed with pretty much everything my pastor felt about politics. It didn't keep me from attening and supporting the church.

The Clinton / McCain "October Suprise"

Show me the person who believes our military has accomplished its mission in Iraq and should start coming home now, but is willing to forget about that and will help elect someone who is fine with keeping troops in Iraq for 100 years because what is more important to that person than the lives...

The Clinton / McCain "October Suprise"

David Duke didn't just have friends in the Klan, he was a Grand Wizard of the Klan. We judge him for his actions, not the actions of his friends.

Which isn't meaningfully less vague that "I read it on the internet". Where on DailyKos? In a post by Kos? In some diary? In the comments? Is there any credibility behind any of it? Whenever people slip into passive tense, it's often to avoid responsibility. The political classis is "mistakes...

The Clinton / McCain "October Suprise"

And we can look at the candidates and see how they've been affected. Michelle has been married to Obama for a long time. He picks up some things, he doesn't pick up others. We don't have to wonder - we can look at the candidate as see - we can look at what they've done, at what they want to do...

The Clinton / McCain "October Suprise"

Some things never get old. I'm 41 years old. And every time my wife says "It's not" I start laughing. The woman's a saint for not divorcing me years ago.
