    The Everything Pooh Sized Thread

Preview At a US size 22/24 I have ridden all the Disney rides you mentioned just fine. I think I remember The Little Mermaid being a bit snug but not significantly so. You should be comfortable and do fine. I too carry most of my weight in my midsection and the only issues I have really run...

    Extra Magic Hours/Days Changing?

I was checking the park calendars on the WDW site today and saw that the days for EMH seem to be different the last week of February for all the parks. For example, during non-peak seasons, Magic Kingdom typically has their EMH on Sundays and Thursdays, but the last week of February I am...

    Strange things guests say

I went to Disneyland as a kid, so my very first trip to WDW I couldn't wait to ride the MK version of the Matterhorn! D'oh!

    Disney Food Pictures...Part IV!

Oh how I love the bakery in Norway! The Berry Cream Puff was good, got one on an earlier trip: The pastry could have been a little flakier but the cream and berries were very good. I'm a big fan of their cloudberry horns and rice dream too. Not so much the school bread. ( I know, I...

The one I rented at the park this weekend was comparable in speed to the ones I rented off site.

    Best drinks? Adult that is...

I love the Lapu Lapu at the Poly! I also tried a Mango Gingerita from the tea stand in China this weekend. It was very good if you like ginger (which I love). Cold and sweet with a little bite to it.

    Raglan Road Downtown

We really enjoyed Raglan Road, it's definitely on our 'do again' list. The menu there is pretty extensive, I am sure you can find something for a picky eater. It's a little loud but a lot of fun! Hope you enjoy!

Snack store in Hollywood - gone?

Was just in there this weekend! They have lots of dining plan offerings for snacks. The apples however do not qualify as snacks as many of them are in the $7-$10 range for prices.

Who would you rent a scooter from

I have done a little off site and a little park renting. Off site companies tend to be cheaper but they rent smaller, less 'hearty' ECVs, with a range of about 14 miles. These are fantastic for us when we stay on site and use the busses, they are very maneuverable. We would always put it on...

Tell me what your best sugar free dessert at Disney World

This was the No Sugar Added option at Tutto Italia for our April trip: It was a Lemon Ricotta cheesecake and really fantastic. No one in our party is sugar restricted, it simply sounded good so we ordered it. Didn't miss the sugar in it at all, it was creamy and yummy.

Yak and Yeti. . .tell me or SHOW me what's great!

I had this: Maple Tamarind Chicken - Seared chicken breast, Indonesian tamarind glaze, coconut ginger rice, baby bok choy, shiitake mushroom stir fry And I thought it was amazing! The flavors are very complex and good, the glaze was really yummy. I have tried the Lo Mein there...

This is our pic of that dish: from our trip in April. My DS ordered it and we too were very shocked by it's appearance. I don't think it matches the description at all. Chicken Crepe - with roasted portobello mushrooms, peppers, and a Blue Cheese Bechamel Sauce My son picked...

    TIPS: Star Wars Weekends 2011

DS insisted on being signed up for JTA on Sunday after seeing Darth Maul there on Saturday. However on Sunday there were rotating between Darth Maul and Asajj Ventress, and he got Ventress. Ashoka Tano was training the kids on the lower level. It wasn't what he was expecting but he was...

Any Restaurants to Avoid w/ Mild Autistic Son?

We had issues with 50s primetime and my Aspie. He knew what to expect going in and we thought he would enjoy it but he didn't even make it to the table before the meltdown started. I would suggest looking through dining reviews as much as you can to get a feel for the different...
