Does anyone remember the Jamaican party bus that rolled through Epcot in the mid-late 90s?? I believe they were called Junkanoo? After they left Epcot I think they could be found at Caribbean Beach, but then gone all together. As a kid, they were my absolute favorite!!
We are traveling end of May/beginning of June and are optimistic that Mine Train will be open. With that said, are there any ideas of if/when fast pass+ might become available for this ride?
My husband and I have been in the process of growing our family for over 3 years. After a few heartbreaks, and not enough patience, we have been blessed with our sweet baby boy born 12-12-13. My family has called Disney our 'happy place' since I was young. My husband and I travel to WDW 1-2...
We love the OKW pool. It is nothing spectacular, kind of basic, but very nice. Plenty of room, decent amount of chairs, close to sand area and playground, and great poolside entertainment (music and games).
I would vote for #1 simply because it gives you most time at BLT. We stayed there for the first time on our last trip. We were previously BWV and BCV lovers (with OKW not far behind). BLT knocked our socks off!! Everyone in our 6person family loved it (which is hard to do)!
I always end up with PDD. That's what causes me to spend time here on the Dis. Here's to hoping your blues subside as you look forward to June with your new little one!! On the meantime, I'm right there with you.
I would second OKW. You could stay in a 2 bedroom, sleep everyone comfortably! and have TONS of room! Plus, you and DH would have your own master bedroom. Also, you would have access to bonuses like full kitchen and washer/dryer. This does not mean you HAVE to rent points. You can book these...
We love OKW...one of our faves! My only concern for you, given your criteria would be the CS food. As PP said, the Goods to Go (the only CS) is just a window with picnic tables on the patio. We love eating there, but there is not a large variety (specifically at breakfast). They do, however...
I wish they were continuous! They have show times spread out throughout that timeframe. If I remember correctly, they play for abut 30-40 minutes, and then are off for about 30-40 minutes. Ive never planned it ahead of time, but when you get to the park, there is a schedule specific for that...
Sounds like a fabulous time!! I always love reading about those returning from wonderful trips. Now, you will need to start planning your next trip to ward off those post Disney blues!
I love roller coasters, and am very excited to ride the new mine train...but I'm definitely going to miss Snow White's Scary Adventures. It's such a hard balance to look forward to new attractions, when you really miss those classics!
I'm more of a capri wearer-- so I understand that can be a little different than shorts. But I'm from the North-- so I'm with the PP who mentioned upper 60s. 70 degrees-- you better believe I won't be caught in jeans! We leave on Wednesday...can't wait to feel that sunshine on my face!! :yay:
So glad you were able to go and have a magical time. :wizard:
Agreed that God is so good. May he continue to bless you, your family, and your precious new Grandbaby.
We did Donald, Pluto, and the firefly guy from Princess and the Frog. I don't remember his name- and he was the worst- because I didn't even know what he was supposed to look like! :crazy2:
I absolutely love the class- and can't wait to go back and do more guys! :artist: I would love to do...
Totally agree with Animation Academy! :artist: We have been to the World 20+ times, and have never done the academy until our last trip! :crazy2: Needless to say, on our last trip we got hooked, and did it 3 times. It was absolutely the highlight of my vacation! :wizard: I have absolutely...
I realize this thread is very old by now, but somehow came across it. My deepest sympathy for your loss. What a terrible tragedy.
I am hoping that you're hanging in there- and working through your hearbreak. So are you planning to go somewhere?? I wanted to share. Over the course of a...
I wish I had something insightful to say, or some words to ease your pain. But I don't. :sad2: Just a heartfelt I'm so sorry. Just read your beautiful post about sweet Phoebe, and cried like a little baby. I have prayed for your family's hearts to heal. What a lucky girl Phoebe was to have...
Super jealous of all of those attending NOJ this year! We were there last year, and had an amazing time. We were watching Toby Mac on the Castle stage when Chris August (who I love) literally walked right by us, and stood and watched part Toby Mac's performance. :cloud9: So cool! I say if...
I completely agree that this would not make sense for those who do not drink pop at all. Also, I can't imagine a way to monitor who is actually a resort guest and has paid as a part of their room reservation. I think that would cause a simliar challenge to what is going on now. Really a shame...
