I am pleased to report that Marriott have beaten the price I have from an agent so I now have a reasonable booking in place. So I can just keep watching the prices and will cancel if I find something better! :D

Thanks guys. The reason i ask is because by far the best prices are available through an online agent other than the hotel itself. Unfortunately the trade off seems to be that you cannot cancel without paying a penalty. However, I do not want to buy now and then find the price has gone down...

Thanks Anc96. The rate I am getting online is somewhat better than mousesavers (actually I can beat almost every rate they give!). I have to admit I am a bit lost as to where I will go! I dont even know if now is a good time or whether I should wait a few months!

I'll be honest that, as a honeymoon, I really want to be in a hotel, not villas or the likes. More than anything else, we just dont need the space. A nice room is one thing, a suite is nice... but we dont need kitchens, second bedrooms.... we just want a nice resorty type area - a nice room...
