    booking hotels online

I usually book my hotels through Get away today which allows monthly payment plans or last minute Travel when I need a fast last minute hotel or can pay right away. Does anyone know of any other sites that allow you to make monthly payments? Or any sites that don't charge you until you check in...

    Fairfield or Residence?

if you plan on returning during the day for naps and such I would go with Fairfield! We were VERY happy with this hotel and it is so convenient! I dont know when you are traveling but if it is during a busy time, taking a stroller and 2 young kids on the shuttle can be awful!! if its a slow...

$175 for a main gate hotel or Free hotel?

we have stayed at this HI, I usually have to use a scooter, and the amount of time it took to get on an art shuttle and then to get the scooter secured was quite long. Also we had a double bed room there and the beds are very small doubles. I dont know what other rooms they have available I...

Disneyland on crutches and with an ECV - advice needed

Yes they allow crutches. I did this exact same thing a couple years ago when I had surgery on my foot. Bring some sort of Bungee cord to keep the crutches attached when driving on the ecv. It will save a lot of aggravation of falling crutches! I was so glad I had one in my car!!

    Bad day!

Thank you this kind of makes my point! And Wow my son has asthma and he can wait in line just fine! But that really wasn't my point lol. The whole point I was trying to make was the accommodations that I needed today were being made for other people. I wasn't asking for off the wall treatment...

    Bad day!

Yes my disability is more than mobility which I did explain to a supervisor at city hall today. I did tell them I had to stay in line twice. I was told that the person at the entrance to the line should have given me a return pass but they did not. They did give me a gac with the things you...

    Bad day!

And sorry I am using my phone and I don't know how to quote on here. I realize that people have invisible disabilities. I have one! I don't just have a hurt foot and have to use a cane for a while. I have a disease that causes pain throughout my whole body. I have no strength in my arms and and...

    Bad day!

Thank you all for your responses. Like I said I was having a bad day. I have thought of the cane with the chair and I am totally looking into that!!! The wheelchair is out for me this trip. My partner has a bad shoulder right now, just hurt it at work, and she can't push me. I do not have the...

    Bad day!

Sorry I'm ranting I have just had a really bad day in the park. I'm on a quick valentines trip with my partner. I am disabled and usually use a scooter while I'm here but this time due to money constraints and it being a surprise trip I am using my cane. My disability makes it hard for me to...

Sticker shock!! What happened to the hotel rates??

Try last minute travel. You have to call to get the best rates but I have gotten good prices on some great hotels! I know with spring break prices are a bit higher but I got the Hilton in August for only $79 a night so it's worth a try! http://m.lastminutetravel.com/hpm.aspx

Renting ECV for a multi-stop trip?

It was great. I actually had a problem with my first scooter. It was something that I could live with but was a little annoying. I called just to tell them that the scooter was doing this and they had a new scooter at Disneyland front gate in a half hour. The scooter was delivered to my hotel...

    Anaheim Hilton or Fairfield Inn

I love both hotels! FFI is nice because of the distance but if I got to choose for the same price I would go to the Hilton! the beds are to die for comfy!

Need a recommendation on a hotel for a family of 5.

We have 3 teens and usually stayed in a standard room with just them and got hotels with 2 queens and a pull out sofa or roll away when trying to save a little. Del sol and Fairfield inn both have large rooms. We have gotten family suites at camilot inn, stay bridge, holiday inn on walnut(this...

    Fibromyalgia at Disneyland?

I have fibromyalgia, and I have been suffering for years through many Disney vacations! I used to travel with my family completely drugged up on pain killers just to make it through the day. I would take ice baths at night to kill the unbelievable pain I would have. And after a week in Disney I...

    Anaheim Fairfield Inn

we stayed here 2 years ago when they were redoing the rooms. I loved the size of the rooms, and loved the new Disney theme. this is by far my favorite hotel of the "across the street" hotels. we stayed in the back and were so exhausted that I guess we couldn't hear the freeway noise that some...

    Bum knee at Disneyland?

you will want to go to city hall and get a GAC. tell them your limitations and they will make accommodations that you need for rides and shows. There are several off site places to rent scooters (which I recommend because they are way cheaper!) I have used a scooter4u (562) 697 - 7725 and...
