Online Check In Vs In Person

I always do online check in. I maybe had to change something twice and then it was usually fixed very quickly. I think the odds lean towards the hassle free online checkin, at least for me.

    Magic Bands? Are these useful?

I have a MB+ from my last WDW trip. I’ll probably just register it to DL. I don’t think I’ll buy one. Then again I always say I’m not buying a new MB and yet somehow I end up with one 🤣

    Magic Bands? Are these useful?

If I can’t get a physical ticket I’ll either just use my phone or switch one of the dozen MB or my one MB+ from WDW to DL. Although I think I’m going to be Club Level so I would have a physical room key. I’ve only stayed onsite at DLR once before. Does your room key act as a ticket there?

    Magic Bands? Are these useful?

So can you not charge to your “room” using a magic bandit DL. That is the best perk of the bands at least in my opinion. Without that perk I might just stick to my phone. Or pull the hack of getting a physical ticket and putting it in my clear phone case.

    Who else is watching "Ted"?

I know some of the production crew. They’ll be happy to hear you liked it.

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2023 Edition

Disney/Hulu more than Fox and in truth Seth is even more of a stakeholder than Fox at this point.

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2023 Edition

I've been there and done that and it's very cool. The set was an actual 2 story build with long hallways and real door/room continuations so you could do a long running shot. It would absolutely be something I'd recommend.

The Official VILLAS at DISNEYLAND HOTEL (Discovery Tower) Owners and Fans Info Thread

We have to work with a small city for wifi to one of our units. It's actually crazy. You think I'd just be able to put in a wifi hot spot so to speak but I have to work with the city's infrastructure to carry the bandwidth/electrical and router interference to operate. I imagine it's like...

    Never used das before… neuropathy?

Again same. Ovarian Stage 3ciii. I was in remission, but have a small reoccurrence so it's back to chemo but I am in the platinum sensitive group so I get to do another round of front line instead of trying to find a trial or experimental.. Carboplatin/Doxy/BEV this go around. Also happy to...

Would You Stay in an Adults-Only Disney Resort?

It would not be the deciding factor as I care more about the vibe as it related to my preferences (rooms, food, decor, location, price, etc). But all other things being equal between two resorts and one was child free I'd probably try the child free resort.

    Never used das before… neuropathy?

Nice to meet you too. Weirdly enough I knew what Neuropathy was (family friend had it and we used to room together) so when it was mentioned as a possible side effect I recognized it immediately when it hit me. I'm about to start my second chemo round and they started to explain it was a...

Same. I have CIPN and I had to get a mobility device. I did get a DAS but not for the neuropathy.

The Official VILLAS at DISNEYLAND HOTEL (Discovery Tower) Owners and Fans Info Thread

For those who have been in a Duo, do you think a ECV would fit. I am no longer able to walk for a whole day and would prefer to rent from offsite so I have it for DTD as well. I expect it will be tight and I could move up to a SV villa but I honestly think a Duo would fit my particular vibe...

The Official VILLAS at DISNEYLAND HOTEL (Discovery Tower) Owners and Fans Info Thread

Gotta laugh because while I prefer non paper at home (cause landfill) I actually like having the disposable stuff at hotels.... I'm not even a germaphobe but I will have to wash all of that before I use it. :tilt:

    Mears Connect Experience

Just used Mears both ways on my last trip and it was fine. I always consider the Mears/Uber split but it always comes down to do I want to pay so much more for convenience and at WDW that would be a no. At DLR I only did the shared van a few times and that was enough to know that with how close...

    Favorite cups

I have one of these (actually may be a 16oz one but same brand and style). https://a.co/d/amWdOgE Got mine at Walmart and it' works incredibly well to keep ice. Not sure on it's hot ability but ice stays icing for sure.

    Splash Mountain

The renderings looked like it will be a Malstrom/Frozen type refit. Basic infrastructure stays the same with new backdrops and themeing. However there is a lot of scaffolding. Maybe some structural changes are possible.
