The price increases are astonishing. QSDP now costs about what the regular DP cost just a few years ago.

It's not yukky, but no counter service is worth going that far out of your way for.

I've had the DDP several times when it was free, but would never pay for it. Especially with these price increases, anywhere from 7% to 17% over last year, depending on which plan you get and kid or adult prices. The official inflation rate over the last 12 months is only 1.4%.

I'm checking in on the 24th. Has anyone been to the arcade by the pool recently? My son likes to play pinball every day, but last time the machine wasn't working. The arcade doesn't seem to be used much because of the out of the way location, so maybe isn't maintained as well as some others.

I haven't been in 2 years, and have heard conflicting info on changes in the destinations shared by buses. Previously, DTD buses also went to TL, and AK buses also went to BB. Is that still the case? Thanks!

Fantasmic dinner packages seem to be 90 days out now instead of 180. Does it work the same way, i.e. 90 + 10 or whatever from check-in date? Or is it 90 days from the date of the ADR? Thanks!

You really should be all ready for the photo when you check in. On checking in, you'll be put in a line for the photo, and once the photo is done you could be called to go to your table at any time. Have fun!

I checked the Maryland Costcos two weeks ago, with an employee's help. Beltsville and Gaithersburg did not have any. Glen Burnie and Frederick had quite a few. So it seems pretty random even within a fairly small geographical area which stores have them.

The line in the castle moved at a decent pace. We had time to see everything, and for my daughter to explain it all to me (I hadn't read the books or seen the movies).

I ate at PM about 8 times last week on the DDP. We were not charged the 10%, and were told (by the cashiers and the servers) that the only way we could leave a tip was cash on the table. I was also told (by two different cashiers) that when (non DDP) guests are charged the 10% service...

We used our last 4 CS credits to bring sandwiches and drinks to eat at the airport.

It's a great deal. We've done it 3 times now (most recently on Aug. 19). The appetizer is still included.

We don't do TS on departure day. Too much to do already. One of the guidebooks says your last day is a good day to do a character breakfast. It's hard enough for us to make it to a character breakfast any day, and I can't imagine packing up and checking out beforehand.

I have tickets, but I don't know much about the event. I'd appreciate info from anyone who went last year. Where exactly at Epcot does it take place? Is the special Illuminations viewing area really all that special???

If and when there is a public offer, it may not even apply to the same dates. But it's nice in any case to have the 6 months advance bookings back, for those of us who took the bounceback offer.

If the park is scheduled to close at 7 that day, then the restaurant probably doesn't book past then, and things will fill up quickly.
