Thank you both! Good to know I won't have duplicate files clogging up the works. LOL :thumbsup2:worship:

    Disney Font

for anyone with Vista... Once you install the new font to the fonts file, do you have to keep the unzipped file in your downloads file or can you delete it? Just seems like it will be taking up a bunch of space after downloading and installing several font files.:confused3

Returning a Purchase Made on Last Trip?

I've been in the same situation and as long as you have the receipt you're good to go.:thumbsup2

    Thinking of Driving:scared:

You'll be fine going through Albuquerque, usually has mild weather. It's just the leg from Grants to the AZ border that can be iffy in winter. I can't think of the site just now, but before you leave, google NM driving conditions and it will bring up a NMDOT website that will give you current...

    Happiest Haunts Tour

We went on this tour last Wednesday and everyone in our group (3 kids, 2 adults) had a great time and really enjoyed it. The best aspect for our younger kids was that they didn't have to wait in lines at the rides while with the tour group.:thumbsup2 I did some searching here on the boards and...

    Ride Turnstyles

My sister and I are both Pooh-sized and short as well.;) The only turnstyles that are a bit tight are the one's for the rides in Fantasyland, we just tip-toe and do the side-ways thing. Other than that, you'll do fine.:thumbsup2 We've found that DL is pretty size friendly.

Any rides to avoid for Pooh sized folks

I agree w/ Jane...Mulholland Madness is a tight squeeze for us pooh sized folks. Other than that I've had no problems with any of the other rides. :thumbsup2

    Disneyland Resort Help needed

DLH has a suite that will sleep 6 comfortably...2 queens in the bedroom and a sleeper/sofa in the main living area. Can't remember the name of the building but the balcony overlooked the waterfall area.

    Wheelchair ?s

My sister broke her foot & ankle a week before our planned trip to DL in March. Getting into and out of the handicapped parking area was a breeze, they'll pull you out of the main line of traffic just after the booths. Once inside the park she rented a ECV each day and did fine. The rides in...

    What suite do you recommend?

When we visit DL it's usually a multi-family trip so we opt for suites as well. We've stayed at Res.Inn by Marriott in a 2BR suite (1 room had a king and the other had 2 queens) each room had it's own bath, plus you could fold out the sofa if needed. This was nice as it has a full kitchen...

    Disney Halloween Treat ??'s

My sister and I took our girls (9 & 6) last year. It was soo much fun! The girls had a blast going to all the different candy-stops, there were tons of characters out and about as well as photo-op stations. Music was playing, there were little spot lights on the ground that looked like ghosts...

    DL with a broken leg...?'s.

Thanks for all the help/tips. We aren't staying on property so wouldn't have any way of getting a rented ECV to/from the hotel to the parks, so she's going to rent one each day at DL. Therein lies her worry of getting from where the parking garage shuttle lets us off to the main gates of the...

Why should I choose DLH instead of GC?

We've stay at both and will stick w/ GCH from now on. You can't beat having the entrace to DCA right there, makes it so much easier on the little one's after a long day at the parks to be so close to the room.

    DL with a broken leg...?'s.

We're leaving in a week for DL and my sister broke her leg last Wednesday. She doesn't want to cancel the trip, 7 kids with broken hearts is more than she can take, and plans to rent a ECV to navigate the parks, our only concern is the loooonnngg trek from DTD to the main gates of DL. She...

Crocs - Good walking shoes for DL?

I use Body Glide to prevent blisters. REI carries it, but if you google it there are several online options. It's wonderful stuff, and not just for feet!!!:thumbsup2

Crocs - Good walking shoes for DL?

Love my crocs! I've tried expensive walking shoes, tennis shoes, you name it and have always ended the day at DL w/ feet that hurt so bad I'd swear cutting them off and walking on the bloody stumps would feel better.:scared: I broke down and bought a pair of the Mary Jane's type and tried...

Crowds The Week-end of November 3rd?

That is my DN's birthday. My sister and I always take the kids to DL that weekend and it's never been crowded. The kids say they like it since it isn't beastly hot and the lines for the rides go pretty quick. :thumbsup2

Does your family wear matching outfits at DL?

We dress the kids in matching shirts...usually bright colored. It's easier for us to spot them that way.

Please HELP...can I salvage my shirts????

Woo-Hoo! It worked!!:cool1: When trimming the paper down for the design, I went about 1/4 inch wider all the way around and went back and hit those edges w/ a pair of the decorative edge shears that way it would be slightly larger than the original and have a bit of fabric to adhere to rather...

Please HELP...can I salvage my shirts????

Thanks for responding.:goodvibes I normally wouldn't be bummed about something like this, but it will leave 2 little ones without a trip shirt(7 kids total going). I guess I'm just gonna try the "cover up" and see how it works, if it won't stick or looks funky I'll run out and buy some...
