Our daughter has a Peanut Allergy. We sailed on the Dream about a month ago. first make sure your travel agent and/or Disney Cruise Line has it noted. She was able to eat at Cabanas. The protocol at Cabanas is as follow enter and ask for a head server. They then get a chef who will come out and...

    Seven seater vehicles

I hate to be the one to knock the Caravan, but I recently rented one while my Sienna was getting fixed. We are also 5 adults and two kids. My Sienna will fit our luggage due to the angle in which the seats can move. The Caravan could not fit the same luggage because the seats do not position to...

Magic Kingdom Castle lights early Dec.

Does anyone know if they have people leave the night of MVMCP? We're thinking of buying the tickets, but for $400 plus dollars for seven of us I would hate to pay and non paying people can just hang around too. I've read on the Halloween special nights they have people leave. :surfweb:

    Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party

I'll guess there had to be a a hundred people. It was not two hundred. If you said seventy five that might be right on. You enter and receive bands. You then get seated at a table, it's not or at least it wasn't a sit where you want event. I will say though if you have little ones once it's...

    Disembarking the ship.. what time?

What time do you have car services pick you up at the port on the day of disembarkment? We'll be going directly to WDW. We would liketo get an early start. Having the service pick us up 9:00 AM cutting it too close to get off and get through Customs?:surfweb:

    flying with severe allergies?

We have flown Jetblue. They do not serve peanuts. I would stay away from SW. They will not serve peanut products as long as you check in with them at the ticket counter. We found SW to be the worst due to a lack of protocol. We were told three different things pertaining on who to check with. My...

Crowd levels the week BEFORE Christmas

Thanks to all for the input. With school schedules, we do not have the option of getting to the parks any earlier than the week before Christmas. However, with cooler temps than July/August, and our past experience in navigating the parks, I think that we will be ok. Our departure date is...

    Hotel help near BWI

I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton BWI Airport. Its located right on the property. They do have a shuttle service. I would allow yourself some time for the shuttle though. We had to wait a few minutes for some business people running late. Its a business hotel serving those flying in and...

    State Buget busting my budget!!!

I've been in many schools and its hard to watch when teachers and their assistants just standing around. Everyone needs down time, I get it, but some schools just have too much overhead. Schools with their own psychologists on staff. What gives? Twenty five years ago we didn't have this. Our...

Saw this on the news today, all over peanuts....unbelievable

I have a DD with a peanut allergy. I do believe the school in the article is a little over board on mouth washing. To those without a child with a food allergy. Try watching a child gasp for air in an ER. Not fun at all. This has occurred twice to us. And a residue can cause a severe reaction...
