ROYAL PACIFIC RESORT INFO...FAQ and more......

Am so excited, just booked my first ever universal solo trip to stay a week club level at RPR, only problem it’s not until spring 2021 lol. Have stayed solo at Disney before but want a more chilled Orlando trip so concentrating on the universal parks which I haven’t visited since 2006, as well...

    Deluxe and FP

Not everyone who stays at a deluxe resort pays rack rate, for example, my first stay at BWI was heavily discounted so much so that it would have cost us more to stick with our original non discounted rate at POFQ, it’s not so clear cut to suggest that just because someone stays at a deluxe...

HUGE Mystery at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo

Having money and spending it on wonderful vacations/experiences is one thing but when it’s on full show to everyone personally I find it a little distasteful, just my opinion of course.

    Hurricane Irma?

They're from the UK and have been in Orlando for a week now, they did not intentionally travel to Orlando knowing about Irma. Frequent UK travellers know the horror a hurricane can bring but some, mainly infrequent travellers, underestimate what may happen. I hope for everyone's sake this...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I have WL CL access booked for next year, looking forward to returning to the 'new' CL. I don't have an issue with opening up CL access, assuming a realistic headcount is adhered to. I enjoy the perks of a separate keyed access floor, dedicated pre planning etc, and walking from my room to the...

    Help Picking Resort--Solo Trip

Have stayed solo GF/WL/BC and BWI. Loved WL solo, felt relaxing away from the parks, as you love FT Wilderness maybe WL is a good alternative? My second favourite is BC, I really enjoy the beachy theme and despite a busy lobby there's some quiet places to relax, as well of course as being...

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Thank you for posting the link, I am considering a couple of nights at the YC. I like the beds and curtains but hate the look of the wardrobe/storage, is just looks poor quality, like a DIY put it together at home type of thing, maybe I am being a bit unfair, perhaps the photo doesn't do it...

Can't decide - PB or RPR cl?

I have now booked 8 nights at the Portofino Bay in a club level room :) It was a really tough call between PB and RPR but the PB theming won me in the end.

Can't decide - PB or RPR cl?

Thank you everyone, can I just ask re PB is it really inconvenient having rooms a distance from the lounge? Also, is it possible to take drinks/food back to one's room?

Can't decide - PB or RPR cl?

Yes that's me :) Thank you for your opinion on RP, I really do prefer the rooms at PB but I'm not 100% comfortable on walking those long hallways at night, especially seeing as sometimes the rooms can be a long way from the lounge. However, I prefer the fact RP is all under one roof and I do...

Can't decide - PB or RPR cl?

Shortened version is last couple of trips I have had to cancel but now planning 2018 (can book already through UK agent who is doing length of stay offers), have stayed at both RPR and PB before but not CL. I usually stay at Disney CL but am disillusioned generally so am now thinking for my...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Very disappointing re the demise of the IPO, in all my CL stays over the years I have handed over my planning to them. Whilst I enjoy CL amenities the IPO were a major part of my experience. I think the time has now come for me to mske the move to the Four Seasons for the personalised service...

    Free Dining at Club Level?

Yes wrong info - I have free dining at BC CL. I am another one who doesn't see the dining plan as too much food, we are all different but I look at the evening offerings as party food/snacks/crudités and as such I prefer to have a proper table service restaurant meal instead.

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I am from the UK and have booked over the years with Disney US room only discounts no problem at all, for my 2017 trip due to the poor value £ against the $ I opted to book with Disney UK as it included free dining and memory maker + better value 14 day hopper. Ok I am paying full rack rate for...

I Could Never Stay Anywhere Else But The Grand

GF is beautiful and I have stayed a couple of times but I prefer the Epcot resorts, dare I say I never felt the service superior to other Disney resorts (even though I stayed RPC), the great thing with Disney is the fabulous choice of resorts :)

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I've stayed solo CL at GF RPC, BC, WL and BWI. From a solo chill'axing point of view I preferred WL with the lounge ambiance at RPC a close second. I enjoyed BC for the Epcot location but found the CL experience a bit frenetic with the amount of CL guests, I also really enjoy BWI solo. From...
