Value Resort for couple without kids?

Hello Everyone, I am thinking of suprising my DW with a 7 night trip to DW the last week of September. Anyone know which of the Value resorts would be best for a couple without kids? My DW gets so excited when we are there, we hardly ever are in the room. Also, anyone know of any...

I need some info. & pictures about Bugs Land

Don't forget to look for the one four leaf clover that is among all the others at Bugs Land. Also, we always like to look at the Tower of Terror at night. Have fun and relax!

    Plaza Inn Fried Chicken?

We always manage one meal at the Plaza. We share the fried chicken (just DW and I). I always wondered why they don't serve a grilled cheese sandwich. From my understanding, that is what Walt ate everyday there. Enjoy and say high to all the little birds that seem to hang around there at the...

    Pal Mickey at Disneyland?

Hi Folks, While cruising through the local Borders store with Pal Mickey in hand, a family recognized him and started talking to me. They swear up and down that he now works at Disneyland. I always have assumed he only works at WDW and we have twice left him home alone while we went off to...

    Club 33

I have to work so I am unable to join her. We are former San Diego residents and had Southern California Annual Passes for about 6 years so Disneyland is one of the few places on earth that I can send her solo and have no worries. Thanks for your help. Mark and Liz

    Club 33

Hello All, Well, I managed to get my wife a seating at Club 33 for lunch. Please don't ask, I am sworn to secrecy. I am flying her over there from out of state and was wondering where you guys can find the best prices for room only at the Disney property hotels. I can only find the...

    restaurant inside Pirates

Our last experience at Blue Bayou was pretty disappointing. It was for lunch and still costs about 20+ dollars each. My wife had crabcakes that smelled fishy and were undercooked. The waitress said they were having problems in the kitchen. The only time we will go back will be for dessert...

    Trip Report 12/4 to 12/8

Still have to scan them (wife is afraid of digital) but I do have some good ones and will post when I get them on my laptop. Just found out that spring training schedule at DW has been posted. I think we will be there in March. Mark and Liz

    Ride Advise Needed

California Screaming is the only roller coaster I will ride that goes upside down. It is so smooth that I hardley notice the fact that I am doing the unthinkable to me (upside down) If you ride in the back, you get more whip action as in more weightlesness. My wife and I both love the ride...

Will I get stuck or sink the Nemo Ride Question

I am 6'7" tall and over 300 pounds and only had one problem, Space Mountain. I could not get my knees to fit so I could sit down. No problem with Nemo or anything else. Have agood time.

    Trip Report 12/4 to 12/8

We just got back from Southern California with a 4 day stay at Disneyland. Crowds were a little heavier than we expected but still not bad. Nemo's line was forever but we ducked into line during the fireworks and managed a 20 minute wait. Only one disappointment, Blue Bayou. We got a 3pm...

Downtown Disney – What to do

With little ones, I think a stop in the Lego store is cool. You can walk under a huge Giraffe that is made of Lego and sit at the bench in front with the old man made of Lego. He snores usually. Dept. 56 has a lot of Christmas Village type crafts. We buy one each year to add to our village...

    Disney rant

We are former AP holders, a move to Idaho kind of ended it unforturnetly. My wife is small, around 5 foot and she has been knocked over by running kids and teens. She has taken to walking just behind me and to the side. I am over 6 and 1/2 feet tall and pretty heavy (alot more than when I was...

    The BEST DCA snack ever!

For some reason, during the holiday's, they sell "Boneyard Churros" by the Haunted Mansion and they seem to taste better than usual. I think it's in my head.

Am I the only one who *doesn't* stress out about buying gifts for the holidays?

My wife stresses badley if we don't have our Christmas shopping done by Thanksgiving. I used to think it was a little weird but now, when everyone else is going nuts in December, we're all done. This is very relaxing and this year important as we are visiting DL in December.
