    St. Louis for spring break

The City Museum in downtown on Washington Ave. Washington Avenue is fine, lots of restaurants & small shops. At night several pubs & bars. If you a few blocks off the main streets that's where you could run into trouble. St Louis does have a higher than we like crime rate, but just like in all...

Can someone explain the advantage of booking disney through a travel agency?

Just a quick aside, any travel agent that is authorized to sell Disney, must complete the Disney College of Knowledge to earn comission. It is a very intense online training class. So while its very possible to get a travel agent that has not personally been to Disney, they have still all...

Can someone explain the advantage of booking disney through a travel agency?

When you book through AAA you usually get some kind of member benefits, things like special parking, storytime, or discount diamond card good at Downtown Disney Merchants. The travel agent also keeps track of the promotions that Disney offers and then they switch your package over to the one...

    St. Louis for spring break

I'm also from St Louis....my goodness there are a lot of us on the this board!! Depending on our crazy weather, (the motto around here is Welcome to St Louis, if you don't like our weather, stick around a few minutes it'll change!) You can't go wrong with anything in Forest Park. The Science...

confirmations and online check in questions..

Have you requested a "travel with number"? That will link your reservations together. I am also assuming you guys booked your package directly with Disney & not through a travel agent?

Best Place to Celebrate a 1st Birthday?

Hmmm if we are getting close to needing a haircut I will hold off for our trip then...thank you so much! I know they have a seperate cake thread here and I've been looking through it but it looks like most people do not enjoy the super expensive cakes they buy at Disney. I was thinking of...

Disney's Art of Animation Resort Info Thread! Mouseketeers welcome!

Pheww I just read through all 209 pages! It took me like a week of trying to catch up :coffee: Right now we are booked in at AoA (requested a cars suite) but since I did not have the option of selecting that at the time of booking I understand its just a request. I qualify for a special rate...

Best Place to Celebrate a 1st Birthday?

Last year we were booked into Disney long before the date for the new Fantasy Land was announced. We were very disappointed to have to cancel our trip last December even though it was for a fantastic reason, and the day we were scheduled to arrive at Disney, my son made his entrance in our lives...

    Whispering Canyon Cafe

We absolutely LOVED eating here a couple of years ago and this was going to be a surprise for Hubby's birthday the 1st night we arrive at Disney. Now I'm wondering if I should pick somewhere else :confused3

Since when does POR not allow 5 people to a room?

I just logged on & tried to book at Port Orleans Riverside Resort. I had no problem booking a room with 5 people, 2 adults and I selected 3 children age 3,7 & 9 just to play with the system. Maybe the system was having a hiccup? :dance3:

    Opinions Please

I think you are right on the money doing AoA. Yes you can use the fitness center at other resorts (like CS) for $12.00 a day. I think being cousins and not wanting to share a bed (like most cousins don't :rotfl:) 3 beds & 2 bathrooms would be the most important thing to me. I get the heebee...

    Port Orleans or Caribbean Beach

You might want to take in to account how big Carribean Beach is too, and it was very loud & busy when we stayed there. I found our stay at POR to be much more relaxed and found the theming to be southern plantation, Gone with the Wind kinda romantic. However being I was traveling with my Mom & 6...
