I caught a special a couple of days ago and booked a week for 155 on Alamo. I have never paid more that 160.00 for a week. Keep checking. It will pay off. Unfortunately, I often find the best prices after midnight.

My issue is with people that RSVP "yes" and then dont show up. The food has to be paid for prior to the event. We had 175 yes and about 20 people didnt show. That adds up quickly when serving a sit down dinner $30-50pp and cake at 3.75 a slice. One couple later said, "oh sorry, we were mowing...

The extra person charge is for persons over 18. We paid an additional $15 per night for our youngest dd who joined us for 2 nights of the trip. Our oldest dd and her husband were in the second room and were not charged for their 2 children.

It is a short walk from the hotel lobby. We stayed in the older part of the hotel which was very convenient to everything. I would highly advise requesting a room near the lobby. The walk from the newer rooms is a good distance. The golf club is adjacent to the mickey pool.

Rent a car from the Orlando Car Care Center. They will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the rental kiosk right at the entrance to Disney. I would try to find a coupon code and/or use the discount codes that are available through Costco, Walmart, several airline frequent flyer programs...
