Sorry to hear about your wasted day. But that's how I see it happening on a split stay.

In reading the posts on this site, I see alot of people do a split stay. What are the advantages of doing it this way? I like the idea of just unpacking and packing one time at a resort, so I can not see what makes split stays better.

I don't know if this has been asked before or not? Does anyone out there know which resorts have the new RFID door locks already installed and which resorts are schedule to have them installed before the beginning of October?

If you go out the back way (Rt 417) from MCO. You will have only 2 to 3 tolls to pay, depending on your exit, two are the "exiting" type. WDW to Unversal has no tolls.

There is only 4 major car rental companies around these days: 1. Enterprise, Alamo and National 2. Dollar and Thrifty 3. Avis and Budget 4. Hertz and Advantage

Alamo and National were bought by Enterprise in 2007.

Do not know now if they still offer it? But last time we used that Dollar location, they picked us up at the resort. You just had to call them a day before your rental time.

The front desk of your resort will do it. If you are in a park, you can go to Guest Services. Just make sure you have all your information with you.

Southwest boards special needs first then group "A”. Group "A" has 60 numbers in it but 1 to 15 are business select which 90% of the time has no people. Than anyone traveling with a child under 4. Than your group will board.

I always pack electronic equipment in my carry on. As for removal, it depends on the airport you are flying from. I always leave it in and take it out if they ask me to. They have checked it almost every different way you could think off.

Alot could be the timing of the clocks. If our clock is off just a minute, you could fall far down number list.
