Also, one more thing. The resorts do filter the water, but most do not filter the tap water in the room. Brush with bottled water, and no opening mouth in the shower! Honestly, Cancun is pretty safe. I'd be more concerned if they were going to Jamaica, or many of the other Caribbean islands.

Even if she is the most trust worthy, least likely girl to get in this kind of trouble make sure you warn her not to buy drugs. There is a huge nightclub district in Cancun where SEVERAL times I have been offered drugs. I wouldn't be surprised if they are just trying to frame young adults...

I HATE this dryer. As the poster above stated, the dryer adjusts the time to when the clothes are dry. Problem is, the dryer stops while the clothes are damp and you have to manually hit the start button EVERY 5 MINUTES until the clothes are dry. Don't do it!
