After worrying myself about this and wearing shorts, I was glad I did. You are in clear view squatting into a raft while the people behind you watch. And getting out is basically the DCL cast member and whoever happens to be there...but it's not attractive. I'm sure those cameras definitely...
Are the cabin types similar for the price you are paying on both ships. We are the same..family of 5..booking a family ov verandah on DCL and a family suite on RCCL for the end of June came out the same price for us. We've avid DCL but looking half want different ports. Our kids are now...
I question that the OP is from Illinois yet never wears pants/slacks...burrrr! Maybe ya'll have jobs where you can wear jeans.
I must say on one of our "dress up" nights on the Dream in the dining room our table was next to a family where the men were in wife beater undershirts and what...
OH MY!!!:scared1: I wonder if he was with the same family from our July29-Aug 2 cruise and did a Back to Back! He and another man were in wife beaters and gym pants AT DINNER!!!! I was like WOW! and we worried about wearing polo shirts! They had a large table of 8.
Then another table...
We woke up on Monday morning and still DH hadn't packed! The kids and I had done our thing the day prior. I had to get our sweet sad dog to the kennel and get back as I wanted our time of departure from home to be 830am...well that was more like 930am. We had a 40 minute drive to the airport...
We were on the 7/29 Dream and our limo got us to the port at 9am upon telling us the port opened at 930am but check in wouldn't be allowed till 10-1030..well half right. :) We checked our bags with a kind porter who was carrying bags into the garage area. We then waited upstairs in the parking...
We are a military family who was separated for 6 mos last year due to our orders sending us from FL to VA. My high school aged sons' credits would not transfer unless he finished out the the year. So DH moved to VA to get our house (one we had for 14 years) ready after renters had left. Well...
I just thought of this as we were chatting about our cruise from this past week. On the Dream...in the theatres...the drink holders between seats are shallow. Watch out for the top heavy drinks as we spilt ALOT! It made for funny times after it'd happened 3 times! Not sure why they are so...
Well we had a great time and returned to a bad transmission on our truck but I need some help from you all.
I forgot a few photos from Shutters...I thought I read I could still get them once home...anyone have info on that?
Also...can you get the Inaugural tees or Cruise tees...time got...
That's what we've done previously with driving...the hostess' have been so nice...letting us know "when" it was time. :) It's just so danged hard to go! :(
Thanks Keaster. :) We have cruised DCL 4 times previously but without a bus transfer. We have never left prior to 9am as we eat breakfast in our room...yes we are THOSE people. :) Cherishing every last moment.
I can't find where it says what time you must board the DCL bus for the transfer back to the airport. Our return flight does not leave till 2pm and we'd really rather not leave as soon as the ship is cleared. :( but stay on board to enjoy the last morning few hours we have. :)
Thank you all. I didn't know exactly if it was adult only or not. I just know it's not the kids' cookie making class. A friend had been on DCL previously and said they went to a class where the chef picked one item from the nights' prior dinner and made. But the best thing was he shared the...
