    Number One "Must Do"???

Seeing Fantasmic is my must do! It is absolutely amazing. It is worth the waiting time to get a good seat right in front of the river, too. I've seen it countless times and still cry thru the ending! LOL

Does Disneyland make you cry happy tears?

I've cried everytime I've been there. When I was little, I'd cry because I didn't want to go back home. And, I still cry for that reason today! LOL Now I get all misty eyed watching my two boys interact with the characters, that really does me in. The 50th anniversary fireworks brought tears...

Do they still sell these in DL or World of Disney (Downtown Disney)?

I just saw them in Disneyland in July as well. They were indeed in the little coffe/kitchen shop next to the lockers, about halfway down Main Street. If you're coming in from the park entrance, the shop is on the right hand side of the street. We bought the coffe mugs and soda fountain...

man oh man, I could sure use a....

Oh my goodness, I love it all! LOL A churro, a frozen lemonade, caesar salad from Pizza Port, the buffet at Goofy's Kitchen, tacos from the place at DTD (can never remember the name!), corn dog from the cart on Main Street, vegetable gumbo in New Orleans Square, and the yummy Mickey pancakes.

Howard Johnson Hotel: (Please help!) I've heard only good things...

We have stayed there twice. The most recent was at the end of this past June. It was very nice and I would not hesitate to stay there again! We had a tower room both times. This last time, we were one floor under the top and had a view of the park. Our room was very large, nicely decorated...

    Inexpensive hotels...

We have stayed at the HoJo twice and would recommend it. We had a tower room both times, with a view of the park. Very large room, clean, in good shape and very friendly employees. It's also on the Disneyland shuttle system, should you not want to walk. But, really, we walked it multiple times...

    Goofy's Kitchen Review

Couldn't agree with you more! We ate at Goofy's Kitchen three times during our week long stay this summer. It was fabulous! Everying from the character interaction, the quality of the food, and the service was wonderful. We will most definitely be dining there multiple times when we return at...

What are Disney Dollars & are they worth it?

Disney Dollars are great to give to kids before your trip! My boys each got some before we left for our trip this past June. I bought them at our local Disney Store. You just basically trade your money for theirs, dollar for dollar. They are the size of regular bills and come in the regular...

    Kids and Rollercoasters

If memory serves...I think I was actually crying I was so scared! LOL What a big baby I was! My older son was four years old when he went on it the first time. I was cringing the whole time, stomach dropping, and he was laughing hysterically with his arms up having the time of his life! I...

    Kids and Rollercoasters

LOL..... :rotfl2: My mom paid me to go on Big Thunder when I was little. I did NOT want to go on it. I still am not a big roller coaster fan, but can handle Big Thunder now. I hated it and was scared to death when I went on it with her! As soon as we got off I was saying how I'd never go on...

How much spending $ for a family of 4?

Yes, those Mr. Potato head boxes are the best souveneirs! I filled two boxes, every little space of air inside that box was full! LOL It was pretty much bursting at the top and they said it was fine. Such neat pieces; lots of the Disney snack treats, Donald Duck hat, feet, Goofy hat, princess...

How much spending $ for a family of 4?

Forgot to mention....your two year old will eat free at some of the buffets. Our two year old was free at the Minnie and Friends Character breakfast inside Disneyland and also free at Goofy's Kitchen. Good to know!

How much spending $ for a family of 4?

Oh gosh....so hard to say! :) We were just there for eight days and I would say we probably spent an average of about $200 a day. This was for a family of four. Now, you can do it much cheaper....and you can also spend much more! If you eat at McDonald's and such you save lots of...

    Best Western Stovall's Inn

I just read some of the reviews and it looks like, recently, it may have gone downhill. Also keep in mind that the entrance to the parks is not on this street. You will have quite a walk to the entrance, or you could take the shuttle. There are quite a few motels/hotels right on Harbor...

    Guess what I just did

I can't say that I blame you right now. I'm so sorry you're going to be missing your vacation, though. Hopefully, you will feel more comfortable about flying in the near future. Not sure I would have been able to fly there, either. We drive to Disneyland because we're driving to Northern CA...

    Good Neighbor Hotel ??

We've stayed at the Howard Johnson twice and been very pleased with our room. The rooms are quite large and are clean. Very friendly employees. It is on Harbor, but a bit of a walk from the crosswalk to the park. Really, not very far and you can take the Disneyland transit shuttles if you...

How long does California Adventure take?

I think I would spend the extra to get the park hopper ticket. As someone else said, you've just got to see the Aladdin show at DCA. It is AMAZING! I had heard it was good from reading about it, but was still totally shocked! Going over in the middle of the afternoon and taking a break to see...

    French Market Restaurant

I don't think I've ever eaten at either of these restaurants. But, they DO still have the jumbalaya at Disneyland! I just had it a few weeks ago. We have always gotten it at the very tiny counter right next to Pirates. There are just a handful of tables right in front of the counter, right...

    Where to eat?

Goofy's Kitchen! Great food and WONDERFUL character interaction. Your baby would fit right in! It's a perfect restaurant for little kids. Pizza Port in tomorrowland is very good, too. As others have said, it's counter service. The salads are huge. I've had the caesar salad many times...
