I remember getting back from cruises to the real world too. But, what kept me going was thinking of and planning future cruises. Yep, we went from cruising alone (just Bob and me for a while) to getting the whole family to be cruise fanatics! Enjoy all your future cruises!

Our first cruise was to the Eastern Caribbean. That was in 1997. And, I loved the sunrises and sunsets at sea. Truly amazing! The Virgin Islands are beautiful too. And, the shopping there was delightful. Charlotte Amalie has great shops. Unique stores, beautiful jewelry, great...

My husband had a riot playing golf the whole time! I took the baby and two of the grandkids to see the sea lions and parrots at Chankanaab Sea Lion Discovery (lots of fun!) along with my daughter-in-law. The others had fun exploring the caverns on the beach.

But sorry you had that experience at dinner. My word! That was totally rude not to have let you sit next to each other.

For the Disney cruise we went with our children and grandkids.

...but my faves are: Animator’s Palate. The food was excellent. Lobster and Shrimp Wrapper ...mmmmm... delicious! The Spa--very relaxing. Anywhere I could look out to admire the ocean.

My daughters and I had a great “girls-only” day at the Vista Spa. We loved the heated heated chairs, and the aromatherapy session in the steam room, too. Very relaxing! And, those wonderful massages took all our stress away!

Dr. Scholl's shoes are best for walking especially if you have a problem with pain in your legs and back. Or try some sole inserts if you plan to wear closed shoes. One formal dress should be good enough for the dinners.

I loved your report. And, those were fantastic pictures too. Made me relive our cruise of last year. Oh, we had a rollicking good time!

My choice is getting to experience the decorations and fun and activities for Christmas while enjoying the New Year on the cruise.

Our 15-year old grandson was in the group and though at first, he was sulking about going on the Disney Cruise, he was the one who got the most engrossed in all of the activities Disney had to offer for teens. He spent hours at the Stack. The teens are bound to enjoy it.

... shirts of the same color for everyone (not white and preferably some darker shade) and unique Disney character hats for each one?

My coolest recollections of the spa were the heated chairs, the aromatherapy sessions in the steam room, and the relaxing massages. By the end of the treatment, we sure weren’t stressed!

Sometimes, and depending on the likes and dislikes of the child, dressing them up in formal clothes will make them feel special.

When we went on our Disney cruise with our kids and grandkids, we hardly saw the 15-year old. He was hanging out with the other teens, and got hooked on the Stack.
