Another Vote for BOMA. we had Thanksgiving dinner there in '06 AWESOME the wife still taks apbout the desserts, and probably the best buffet in all the Dis' World. How much money to take to disney?

We plan $50 / day. Last trip we used DDP and all was pre-paid before arrival. That did not include extra $ the kids had saved up. This was for 2 adults and 3 kids. In the end we wound up spending $50/day including the $$ they saved. So a $50/day budget was good for us souvieners. Are you...

Anyone have a good meal at Mama Melroses lately?

We ate there Jan 06 and didn't care for it. We really like Italian, maybe it was too authentic and we are Americanized. Our service wasn't the best either. The pasta was old, the chicken was a little cold and the sauce was cold. We did the Fantasmic package and the Rest wasn't busy. We only...

    Airborne?

What do you mean by sick. Do your ears drain and your throat scratchy? Or do you mean sick sick. I know that sounds crazy. I travel a bit for work and live in Houston. We have the worst air quality here and everytime I travel my ears drain and throat gets scratchy from the drainage because...

    Opinions, Please & Thank You!

Both my DW and I enjoyed Kona Cafe, can't remember what either of us ate. This past Nov we tried a lot of restaurants and found the food quality in general to be MUCH improved. The family didn't care for Mama Melrose. I'm sure it's good to some just not the 5 of us. My 2 cents worth.

    Need Dining Suggestions

In November we enjoyed the open market Old Port Royale Food Court at CB for an early dinner on our first night. I heard they were changing it to table service, but the website still shows counter service, the prime rib was good. And my wife enjoyed a chicken dish. Boma's has one of just...

    Dress code in restaurants?

I believe there is only a dress code at the GF upscale restaurant Victor and Alberts, or Citricos I can't remember which one. Otherwise it's shirt and shoes... We did feel kinda funny eating at the nicer restaurants in jeans and t-shirts. But you look like everyone else. Hope you have a...

All Stars (all three) are ALL sold out--is this a really bad sign about crowds?

... Spring Break as one of the busiest crowd times. I'd use the previous recommendation of TourGuide Mike, (not tried it myself) or Unofficial guide touring plans. I've done both the touring plan and the wing it and a tourign plan definitely makes life more bearable. Back to your original...

How much to Budget For Dining

For example if you are eating Lunch CS and Dinner TS I sould recommend no less than $100-140/day for the four of you. I included sharing some snacks, some drinks are huge if you plan it right and share. We've done the DP and not. If you like to eat and try different foods and might not try...

Asmu Fridge Swap - Anyone going 12/26-1/23 & need a FRIDGE?

We're interested in Thanksgiving week 11/18 thru the 26th or whatever works in that range. I'm at ASSp with a rental car, will Front Desk at ASMu allow me to pick-up and drop-off to ASMu. Since I'm the only one not at ASMu. Just hate to pack a cooler back and forth to Ice Machine.
