Omg, first adult only trip! Sept 2016

We did our first adult only last summer. We had 16 days. It was a little strange at first but we didn't feel tied to the parks. We decided every evening what to do. Didn't plan too far ahead. Spent a few days at water parks but best of all had a few drinks in the bar every evening before heading...

    Can't decide where to stay

I would stay at a value resort and use the money to enjoy more of wdw. My only drawback on value resorts are the long lines for buses. Apart from that, they are a great choice for a themed Disney stay.

Your 10 Worst Things and 10 Best Things About WDW

    Water Park Magic Hours

We have just arrived in WDW for a long vacation. The park times do not show either water park with magic hours. Can anyone say if this correct and if so, is it likely to change? Thank you in advance

Staying at All Star Movies, will we be disappointed?

The value resorts are great. They are the only resorts with distinctive disney themes. I have stayed at movies and pop century. They have great pools, a good foodcourt and very welcoming cast members. If I had one drawback it would be the bus lines at the busy periods. The value resorts always...

New summer perk has Members feeling on 'Top of the World'

We own at BLT and go at least twice a year. In the summer we stay for 3 weeks. We visit the TOTWL about 3 times per visit. We do have drinks but don't have food. When I first read the email, I was a little concerned as, previous contributors have said, it was a perk at the time of ownership...

Have we made the right Decision?

We are owners at BLT. Whilst in WDW this summer we spoke to DVC representatives about Aulani. We were very impressed and made the decision to head there in 2012. We are travelling from the UK and flight prices are really expensive. We got cold feet waiting to book Aulani as they haven't had a...

    Where to stay

We Stayed at the Coronado Springs and I have to say it has been my most disappointing resort. I haven't stayed at POFQ but did stay at POR last Christmas. If it were me, I would choose POFQ. Have a great trip anyway

    Moderate Resorts?

We normally stay in deluxe also but stayed at PO Riverside at Christmas. I have to say I thought it was great. We have also stayed at CBR and Coronado Springs. CBR is ok but CS was definetely not for me. I didn't like anything about that resort and couldn't recommend it (Personal opinion).

    Help needed: Bag Questions!

I normally take a backpack to carry everything for the family. I can't think of any rides at WDW that you can't take a bag on with you. I have taken it on RnRC, TOT, TSM, Splash Mountain, BTRM, Test Track, Mission Space And EE. I have only ever used a locker in Universal, Seaworld & Busch...

is the foodservice at either Caribbean Beach or Coronado springs run by 3rd party?

I stayed at CSR 2 years ago and hated the "food court". I put this on a post and someone told me that it was another caterer who handles the food for this resort. I stayed at CBR also but not sure if that is run by an outsider. Have to disagree with "Ancestry". The food was ok at the Pepper...

The big difference between Disney and Universal

It was summed up 3 years ago in a visit to Universal for me. We were about to get on a ride and another guest said something to the staff member about them being unhelpful. The staff member replied "You're not at Disney. We're not paid to smile".
