    Pocket WiFi rental?

We used Global Advanced Communications as well. It was waiting at our hotel when we got there and worked perfectly. We dropped it off in the prepaid envelope at the airport before our flight home. Could not have been easier!

One day at Tokyo Disney Resort

Even with the closures you should still go to Disneysea. The park is flat out amazing. TDL is very similar to WDW MK. Indiana Jones and Tower of Terror alone are worth it (much better versions) - I am assuming you have never been to TDR.

    June 2017 Disneyland Check In!!!

Whichever day you choose get to the turnstiles at least an hour before opening. Go directly to Mission Breakout for a fast pass - do not wait in line to ride it. Once you have the fast pass hurry to Carsland to ride radiator springs racers. Guardians will be the ride everyone will be heading...

When to buy Tokyo Disney passes?

I know they open before park opening, just not how long. If you can not pre purchase your tickets and are traveling with multiple adults, have part of the party save your place in line for the parks while you buy tickets. If you are not going on a weekend or festival, you should be fine (check...

    June 2017 Disneyland Check In!!!

You might want to do California Adventure on Wednesday and Knotts on thursday. Wednesday's are just a tad bit less crowded which will make a big difference at CA adventure - not so much at Knotts (we have annual passes for both). Have fun!!! One more thing - get to knotts front gates at least...

When to buy Tokyo Disney passes?

Sorry.. regarding the multi day pass you must choose the day you want the pass to start. You must also specify what parks you want to visit on days one and two. The third (or 4th depending on the pass) are free to park hop.

When to buy Tokyo Disney passes?

If you are staying at a Disney hotel or Official Disney hotel, you should buy them there the day before if your itinerary allows. We just stayed at the Hilton Tokyo Bay (which was lovely) and did that - they only take cash thought. If you are going during a busy time you are guaranteed entry...

Japan with no skills in Japanese?

Finding Memo was very cute. You are in a theatre with effects. If you love the finding memo movies I would make it a priority to get there first for a fast pass (do not ride it - the line will already be to long). If you do not have an attachment to the movies, skip it. Go to tower of terror...

    Return trip to TDR!

We did not take the subway but I assume you ore going to Maihama station? If so - yes. There are signs everywhere directing you to it and it drops you off directly in front of the park. Make sure you buy a round trip ticket or multi day ticket.

Japan with no skills in Japanese?

To be honest - I would still skip Midway Mania. It is crazy how all the Japanese run to that ride for a fastpass- you have to wait in line to get the fastpass for the same amount of time it would take to get a fastpass for tower of terror and ride journey to the center of the earth (both blow...

Japan with no skills in Japanese?

If you have been on Midway Mania in the US parks - skip it. It will throw off your whole day with getting fast passes for other unique attractions. You MUST ride pooh's Hunny Hunt!!!! An amazing trackless ride. once again, get there an hour before park opening. Get a fastpass for monsters...

Japan with no skills in Japanese?

Yes! Disney Sea is my favorite park ever!! The last night my husband was done with the parks after spending the day at Tokyo Disneyland - which is fine. It gave me time to wander Disney Sea again after dark (you have to plan at least two nights there - that park comes alive after dark) we...

Japan with no skills in Japanese?

We did 4 days. The 4 day pass gives you the last two days to park hop. The pass is quite inexpensive compared to the American parks. You might want to consider that pass if you go during a busier time. We used the full four days and and always had new things to discover. If you decide you...

Japan with no skills in Japanese?

We just spent 4 days at TDR and 3 in Kyoto. The language was never an issue. At TDR they mostly speak some English or will call someone over to help. In Kyoto we found most people had basic English. The most important things to know are please and thank you as well as good morning, afternoon...

    Return trip to TDR!

We literally just left there yesterday. You may want to consider bringing your own food - it would be very difficult to get lists of ingredients for their food and would cause confusion. You don't want that. If you have done Midway Mania in the US parks, skip it. Go directly to Tower of...

Tips on reservations at table service restaurants?

@shelemm I never considered the pace of service - thank you for the response. Being or first time there we might want to make sure that we are not delayed for evening entertainment. Lunch might be a better option for us or saving it for a return trip. We will play it by ear. I did some...

What are your favorite experiences in the parks? A food? A show? The sounds of a land? Please share!

We leave in tomorrow for TDR!! I would love to hear about your special experiences in the parks. A ride? Food? Meeting a character? A show? A "secret" spot? Anything! We are Lucky enough to get to Disneyland once or twice a month. I love getting a Mint Julep and listening to the sounds...
