The map show runners not going along the canal and the Yatch Club as in years past. The programs description shows that we do. Something has to give. One is right and one is wrong. Flip a coin!

I like running/walking the Epcot resorts which are easily reached by Disney transport!

Nothing wrong with walking! They don't give a different medal than runners or people who do a run/walK ratio. Time on your feet is the most importatnt thing :)

I can't see Disney changing this and only continuing to do for other races. They are basically able to sell a "ticket" that costs them nothing but makes them huge money. If only half the people sign up for these 5K's, they make the same money as if they sold out at the $50 price. Less work...

I would agree since most of Disney's newest and biggest events(Half Marathons) are 60+% women and that are adding more women themed events. Why would they want a person in the minority helping out those in the majority :confused3 . RunDisney has a guy(Jeff Galloway) anyway.

I saw that there were 6-8 men on the last panel!

Galloway mentioned at the Disneyland Special Meetup on Friday before the expo opened was to stay to either the right or left side when walking. Because of turns going either right or left, you could be in the tangent line of runners. This will at least leave the main path open to runners.
