Is it too cold to take a Cruise to the Carribean in Feb/March?

We weNt February 13-16 and the weather was nice. High 70's, but very windy and the water at Castaway Cay was really cold. Aquaduck was cold, too. We still enjoyed every minute of sunshine and got a little tan just from the beach and poolside. I would go again in February because the rates are so...

Your most important tip for a first time cruise

My first cruise on the Dream was in February and my husband and I are going in June for our anniversary. All of these tips are great! This is what I learned would come in handy.....a lanyard with a pouch attached at the bottom for key card and ID. I bought one for $10 and was glad to have it. We...

I have no idea how to form a group, but would enjoy participating in a FE group. Anyone have experience with this from past cruises?

    New dining suggestions

Trails End was what I was thinking for Thanksgiving. Don't want to fight the crowds at MK on Thanksgiving day. Haven't tried any of the others mentioned, so I'll check the menus and give some a try. Thank you all!

Booking a pkg: TA vs Disney?

Thankful that I can rely on experienced TA's. Appreciate the services you provide.

Booking a pkg: TA vs Disney?

I booked my own packages for years but now always use AAA. The cost of their services is paid by the company, so I do see a savings. I love that they handle all my ADR's, including getting me one for BOG on opening for dinner. Some people just enjoy taking care of every little detail themselves...

    New dining suggestions

Looking to try some new dining choices for our trip Thanksgiving 2014. Just got back from WDW and had our usual favorites: BOG, Chef Mickey's, Rose and Crown, Grand Floridian Cafe, O'Hana. Had lunch at Hollywood and Vine and actually really enjoyed the food! My family wants to try some...

    My Disney Experience

Just walked in from our WDW trip and had these same issues. We stayed at Pop. When the bands don't work it can really mess up your day. I worked hard to stay calm and polite and a mgr. offered a credit to my acct. because every time someone worked on our bands, including IT before our trip, they...

    OK Honest opinions...BOG for dinner??

We were there the 2nd night it was open in November and have an ADR for next week. Several of my family had steak and I had roast game hen. I think DSIL had a pork chop. Not sure. It was very good. The atmosphere is part of the experience and one of the reasons we're going back. A new favorite...

Ready to throw in the towel!

BoG just opened in November. Hasn't been opened a year yet. It's new and popular, so in high demand. I've known lots of people who've gone for lunch and enjoyed it. There are some things that bug me about WDW but it's still worth it for my family to go and we all enjoy it. However, I make peace...

    selling HS short?

We still love DHS. DGS loves the stunt show and this trip he'll get to enjoy the Disney Jr. characters. Going to brave the boring buffet for him to go to H&V. I love the nostalgic feel of the park. Most of my family really love RRC and ToT. Fantasmic is a great way to end our day there. Just...

Hollywood and Vine Dinner, your thoughts

We're going there for lunch in 9 days but will suffer the buffet for DGS to see the characters he loves. I'm just not a fan of buffets. Better meals planned later in the week. Now I'm going to search menus to see if they still have lobster Mac & cheese!

New to forums but not to Disney

First, welcome! This stuff is new to most of us. I'll be at WDW the same week you are. My DH won't ride anything exciting, but I still just made the same FP choices for us all. Crowd level is the 2nd lowest of the year for our week, so I'm not worried about long wait times for the things he...
