Thanks everyone..
Since I am out of vacation time, I came into work early this morning..(around 4:00 AM), so I could get a full days work in. This trip was planned early in the year and due to unexpected Back surgery for DW, i was forced to use my vacation time to help her at home.
That...

Leaving for the Best Place in the World in 26 hours!!!
Hoping this will be the best trip ever because it is needed in so many ways for everyone coming. Hope for great weather...great times...and low crowds!!
Planning on doing trip report with photos when we get...
Hi Guys,
My family and I are going to BWV in about three weeks. It is our first time renting DVC points, and I wanted to know if we should request any floor or location that is in a more quiet area, or maybe with a good view.
Thanks in advance.
Hi All,
Where does everyone think is the best place to sit(providing that I get there early enough) :rotfl: to see The Headless Horseman during the parade at MNSSHP?
Thanks in advance
My family and I try to twice a year since 2003. Our families think that we are Disney Diseased. Although it gets expensive, we have never payed full price for a trip yet. :) Usually through special offers, and even once, my boss paid the whole thing.:) We live just outside NYC and are...
My DD was just about to turn 4 on our first trip. On the first day there, as soon as we entered the park, the SADCT parade was starting. This was right after 9/11, and the park was empty. Well, DD was so happy to see all the characters, that she was calling out their names and eventualy...
I dont want to send the wrong message. If a child has to go, then he has to go. I can relate. I've been there. It's the adults who "NEED TO CATCH UP" that I have a problem with.
I hate when people cut the line or forget that we are all there to have fun. It takes a lot to set me off, but I have a zero tolerance for these peolpe. The problem is I dont want to get into an altercation with anyone in front of my kids. I am supposed to set an example for them. But it...
Hi All,
My family and I have been to The World a few times now, but we have never been to Tom Sawyer's Island. My DS wants to go, but it seems like there would be nothing to do there that is really exciting. I've seen clips on the various Disney specials on TV, but it doesn't really seem...
My DS rode when he was seven. Said he loved the drops but was scared of the pre-show. He is now 10 and has been back 3 or 4 times and still wont ride ToT.
If you are there at rope drop, EMH is excellent. My family and I always take advantage of this as we are very early risers. As far as the last week in August, we have never been at this time. However, I hear that this is a great time to go. The mouse offers free dining at this time (I...
If you like steak, definately go to Le Cellier. The atmosphere is excellent and the wait staff has always been more than polite and friendly. Also the pretzel bread is out of this world.
I agree as mentioned above. A half a day is enough if you are ther for the opening. Some people really love AK. If ther was no EE my family would skip it altogether.
